She shifted and said, "I was thinking I don't want to date Arrow anymore, and I don't want to be his doe-friend!"
I frowned and said, "So that means running away and getting captured?!"
She hung her head and said, "You wouldn't understand. I should have known better."
I shifted, feeling my anger shift, and said, "Then please help me too. I only want to help."
Zoey shifted and said, "I told my parents about not wanting to be with Arrow anymore, but they didn't care. They said I needed a good, strong buck to set me straight, and Arrow was best." I frowned and said wait Your parents are making you date Arrow? She shifted and said it's more than that. I'm supposed to mate him next season. I shifted and said you unfortunately wouldn't have the chance I'd jump to my own death before you even knew if I hurt her.
