Lylla's Early Days

It was the day after Chase and Skye took their new baby Lylla home from the hospital, and we were excited to hear that.

Skye was trying to soothe a fussy Lylla who is bawling her eyes out.

"Chasey, honey?" Skye called.

"Yes, babe?" Chase asked.

"Lylla's upset again, can you please change her? Please? I haven't slept well in days ever since I gave birth to her." Skye said.

"Ok." Chase said as he gets a fresh diaper and wipes.

"Ok, Lylla, I'll wipe you first." Chase said.

Chase wipes Lylla with the baby wipes.

"Now I'll put this diaper on you." Chase said.

Chase then puts the clean diaper on Lylla, then throws away the dirty diaper.

"There you go Skye, Lylla is changed." Chase said.

Lani, Rosalie, Marie, Mimi and Ace came into the room.

"This must be our new sister, mommy." Ace said.

"Lylla, meet your big sisters, Lani, Rosalie, Marie and Mimi, and your big brother Ace, he's the runt like me." Skye said,

Lylla coos when she saw Lani, Rosalie, Marie, Mimi and Ace for the first time.

"Hey, Lylla, come meet your big siblings." Lani, Rosalie, Marie, Mimi and Ace said as they tickled Lylla.

Lylla giggles when her big siblings tickled her, but then her stomach rumbles.

"Uh oh, looks like Lylla's in need of Mommy's milk." Chase said.

"Come here, my little Lylla, mommy will feed you." Skye said as she begins to nurse Lylla.

Ryder and I came into the room and saw Skye nursing Lylla.

"Hey, Skye, this must be Lylla." I said.

"Yes, this is Lylla." Skye said.

"She's so cute." Ryder said.

"We got a present for Lylla." I said.

Ryder and I showed Skye a DVD of Baby Beethoven.

"That's nice of you guys." Skye said.

Ryder placed the DVD into the DVD player, and I turned on the TV.

"Lylla likes her milk, Chase." Skye said.

"Yeah, she's really drinking up." Chase said.

After Lylla was done nursing, Lani, Rosalie, Marie, Mimi and Ace said, "Can we hold her?"

"Sure, who wants to go first?" Skye said.

"I'll go." Ace said.

Skye hands Lylla to Ace and said, "Here you go, two paws and make sure her head is supported."

Ace held Lylla in his paws and said, "Lylla is so cute, mommy."

Lani, Rosalie, Marie and Mimi also got to hold Lylla.

Lani, Rosalie, Marie, Mimi and Ace licked Lylla while she giggled.

Chase and Skye then licked Lylla and said, "You are so cute."
