Ty Maxy_the_fox for the dare! And thanks for giving me something to write about, as I've had some writing block for a while
(this is an evil dare😭)
Candy walks into Dipper's room, smiling wide. (Bouta turn that smile upside down😈) "Dipper! I came to hangout with you!" She sits on the edge of his seat as he reads, his eyes glued to his book. The room was silent for a few seconds.
"Dipper? Heeellloooo?" Candy waves her hand to his face. He keeps reading. Candy's smile falters, but then comes back up as she giggles.
"Is this a prank? You're so silly."
Silence.
..
"..Dipper?"
...
"Dipper you can stop, now.."
....
"Dipper, this isn't funny anymore."
Hearing her sadness was breaking Dipper on the inside.
A minute later, Candy was saddened.
"I'm gonna leave.." She exits the shack.
Dipper groans, as he already hated this dare from the moment he was told of it.
The next day, Dipper had done the same thing. Candy came over, a little anxious, but still happy, and got ignored yet again.
Dipper was breaking inside even more. He felt immeasurable guilt, it was agonizing. He wanted to hug her right there, but he couldn't.
It went on for a whole week, and Candy was getting even sadder and Dipper was getting even more guilty.
At the end of the week, Candy hesitantly came over. She sits beside Dipper and he tackles her in a hug. She grins.
"I'm so, so sorry, Candy!" He says, his voice muffled as his face was stuffed onto her shoulder. She rubs his back.
"It's okay, but you're repaying me."
"I'll do anything." He kisses her gently.
