Jungkook's lips continued their journey, tracing along Taehyung's silky thighs, marking him with soft, lingering kisses that left a faint pink trail where his teeth had grazed. Each touch was deliberate, slow, igniting a warmth and tension that seemed to deepen with every second.
Just then, the sudden chime of the doorbell pierced through the charged silence.
"Ding, Dong."
The sound echoed, snapping them both back, breaths still heavy, the air between them thick with a raw, suspended longing.
Again, the doorbell rang.
Jungkook groaned in frustration, tempted to ignore it and continue his sweet assault on Taehyung's bare skin. Taehyung, with his eyes still closed, let out a small, exasperated sigh but looked up at Jungkook, his gaze pleading yet resigned. Jungkook understood. He sighed, nodding, and pulled himself up. With a soft kiss pressed to Taehyung's forehead, he got up, adjusting as he walked to the door, leaving Taehyung to fix his own slightly ruffled state.
Opening the door with furrowed eyebrows, Jungkook found himself face-to-face with none other than Park Jimin, who stood there, arms crossed and one foot impatiently tapping. The two of them stared at each other, eyes widening in mutual surprise.
"You!" they both exclaimed at once, their simultaneous shock almost comical.
"What are you doing here?" Jungkook blurted out, raising an eyebrow, still blocking the doorway. But Jimin, unfazed, shot back, "I could ask you the same thing," before pushing past Jungkook and stepping inside, glancing around. "Isn't this Taehyung's house?"
Jungkook shrugged, a hint of a smug grin appearing. "Does it matter? I'm welcome here anytime I want."
Hearing the noise, Taehyung walked into the living room, smiling widely when he saw Jimin.
"Jimin-ah, you're here! What a surprise," he greeted, moving in for a hug.
Jimin looked at Taehyung with a puzzled frown. "Huh? Surprise? You do remember we're supposed to go to the park today, right? You said you wanted to check it out."
A look of realization crossed Taehyung's face as he let out a small groan, pressing a hand to his forehead. With everything that had been going on with Jungkook since the previous night, he'd completely forgotten about his plans with Jimin.
Jungkook's eyes narrowed as he crossed his arms. "Wait, you made plans with this shorty? Why?"
Jimin, without missing a beat, grabbed a cushion from the sofa and hurled it straight at Jungkook, who barely dodged. "Shut up, you muscle pig! How dare you question our plans?"
Rolling his eyes, Jimin turned to Taehyung, his arms crossed in mock disapproval. "Don't tell me you forgot, Tae?"
Tae smiled sheepishly, already darting toward his room. "Give me two minutes, Jimin-ah! I'll be ready," he called, disappearing down the hallway.
Jungkook watched him go, muttering under his breath, "Way to ruin the moment," his glare now directed back at Jimin, who just grinned with unabashed amusement.
Jimin smirked, leaning closer to Jungkook, his eyes glinting with mischief. "Next time, maybe check yourself in the mirror before you open the door," he teased, looking him up and down with raised eyebrows.
Confused, Jungkook glanced down at himself—and instantly felt his face flush a deep shade of red. He hadn't noticed it in the heat of the moment, but he was still visibly affected by the intense moment he'd just shared with Taehyung. Jungkook quickly glanced around, flustered, trying to downplay the situation.
