~Amy's POV~

I woke up with a start to find myself on a nice modern sofa with a warm fleece blanket wrapped around me. There were hushed voices in the room that fell silent as I opened my eyes.

"Amy!" Midoriya rushed to my side, "how are you feeling?" He asked before panicking as I tried to sit up, "hold on, don't rush." He reached out to steady me as I sat up.

I spotted Nighteye on his phone, he quickly dropped the call as he realized I was awake, "are you alright, Amy?"

I nodded. "I'm sorry if I caused any trouble." Guilt wormed through me, if my quirk had been levitating things for more than a blockwide, that had to have been terrifying for everyone. How many people had I potentially traumatized? I wrapped my arms around myself.

"You didn't." Midoriya reassured me with a big grin, mirroring Dad's.

"No one was injured." Nighteye offered me his own reassurance.

That was a big relief.

"It's getting late, are you feeling up for travel, Princess?" Togata asked as he dropped onto the sofa beside me with a warm smile.

I nodded.

Nighteye frowned. "Please don't worry about what we discussed, it's just a theory after all..." He trailed off and looked away from me. It wasn't a theory...he'd somehow confirmed All For One's DNA in my own.

"...right..." I felt sick to my stomach.

What were his plans for me?

"Come on, Princess. You look like you could use some cocoa and a big hug." Togata wrapped his arms around me. "I don't know what's got you so spooked but remember you have so many people who will keep you safe."

What if I didn't need to be kept safe? What if everyone needed to be kept safe from me? I'd destroyed Ground Beta, leveled an entire cityscape. I'd stopped that Nomu's heart and that man in the park when I was younger. My stomach lurched. "Y-yeah." I tried to make my voice sound normal but it wasn't working.

Nighteye, Midoriya and Togata all looked incredibly worried.

"I need a minute." I said so softly I wasn't sure any of them had heard me.

Togata must have as he released me and gave me a gentle pat on the head, "alright, we'll be right outside the door."

They left me alone, reluctantly. I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone. My hands were still shaking. I needed to hear someone who could calm me down, really calm me down. I dialed and pressed the phone to my ear.

"Where the hell are you?! It's way past the normal time a lunch should have taken!" Bakugo snapped.

I burst into tears as I felt an overwhelming sense of calm and relief wash over me at his enraged voice.

"Amy?" He asked worriedly. "Where are you?" It sounded like he was going to fight his way to me if I told him where I was.

"I'm okay. We're heading back soon." I sniffled, "I'm sorry, I just really needed to hear your voice." I wiped away my tears as I slowly began to relax.

"What did I tell you about apologizing?!" He snarled and a smile twisted onto my lips.

"Sorry."

"You're asking for it!" He snapped.

A small giggle escaped me as my tears dried up, "thanks, Katsuki."

"Hurry back, loser." He grumbled, sounding flustered before hanging up.

I took a deep breath and collected myself before heading for the door. Midoriya and Togata looked relieved to see I was no longer crying. Nighteye looked curious.

"Hey, that's more like it, you look much better." Togata slung an arm around me and pulled me in for a side hug.

"All Might's much better at this than any of us." Midoriya remarked.

Nighteye threw me a scrutinizing look, "he's been texting me nonstop, it wasn't him."

I felt my cheeks redden. "Shouldn't we be going?"

Nighteye had one of his sidekicks drive us to the train station. The ride back to Musutafu was quiet. We parted ways with Togata once we reached our dorm. Midoriya opened the door for me and I walked right into a pair of strong arms and was instantly pulled into a headlock. I let out a squeal of panic as Bakugo flung me over his shoulder and carried me into the common room.

"Bakugo!" I heard a chorus of shouts from my classmates before I burst into a fit of laughter.

Bakugo released me with a small smile. "That's better."

I dove into his arms, "thank you, Katsuki."

He held me for a long moment before turning to Midoriya, "what the hell, Deku?!" He snarled.

"EEP!" Midoriya squeaked. "What did I do?" He panicked as Bakugo clenched his fists.

"That's what I'd like to know!" Bakugo growled.

"It wasn't Izuku." I wriggled out of his hold and giggled as Ritsu swatted at him for good measure.

Midoriya looked from me to Bakugo for a moment before his eyes widened a fraction, working out that Bakugo had been the one I'd called when I needed to calm down. He smiled softly before turning serious, "what was Sir Nighteye's theory?" He asked cautiously.

I shook my head, I didn't want to say anything in front of everyone else. Only Midoriya and Bakugo knew I was related to Shigaraki. Dad wanted it to be kept secret.

Bakugo pulled me back outside, "get out here you damn nerd." He snapped at Midoriya as he half carried me out to the yard. Some of our classmates made a move to follow but retreated as Bakugo snarled at them, "get lost you losers!"

Once it was just the three of us. They looked at me expectantly.

"Sir Nighteye thinks All For One and I are related, on my mother's father's side." I said quietly.

"No wonder she was so violent." Bakugo noted absently.

"Kacchan, that's not nice." Midoriya squeaked.

His words finally hit me and I couldn't help but burst into a fit of laughter. That probably did explain why mom was so violent. "What's your excuse?" I asked him with a giggle causing Bakugo to crack up laughing.

Midoriya watched in awe as we laughed.

"You should meet my mother." Bakugo smirked.

"I'd like that." I smiled.
