As they got out of the university parking Yoko asked, "So.. How long have you been riding this bike?"

"Oh, it's been a year with this baby," Faye smiled. "When I topped 1st year.. Which I didn't plan to but I did, my parents knew I had a thing for bikes so they brought me this one saying it's a reward for being so good in studies while... doing other things as well." Faye ended with a small nervous chuckle.

Baby? Are you really getting jealous of a bike Yoko?, Yoko thought.

"They love you so much it seems. Are you the only child?" Yoko asked.

"I am," Faye said quietly, as she remembered her biological parents.

"I thought so," Yoko said chuckling. "What are those other things you're doing that we are talking about except for beating people?"

Faye let out a hearty laugh. "Well, except for beating people, I have always been sporty but it doesn't means that I have been bad in studies, I was still good but my parents just didn't expect me to top 1st year." She said, which is the half truth.

Her parents didn't expect her to top because she also started managing the cafes that year.

"Oh, what sports are you into?" Yoko asked curiously.

"We play basketball and badminton mainly." Faye replied glancing at Yoko in the mirror.

No wonder you are so tall, Yoko thought.

"We?"

"Yeah, me and my friends," Faye replied.

"Oh yeah, your friends." Yoko murmured. She wondered if Faye knows she has been hanging out with Sarah And Jas.

"So it's been a year and no one has ever ride with you? Not even your friends?" Yoko asked as she couldn't believe that she was the first to ride with Faye.

"No, they're always on Sam's car. Well, they like to chat and I like my solitude, so they just let me have it.. for a while." Faye said laughing a little.

Yoko hummed while looking around and when they passed a certain cafe, "This cafe was such a great idea you know, it's convenient for the university students, the food is good and affordable, they also hire students for part time jobs." she said.

Faye smiled knowing that it was her idea. "Have you been here before?" She asked stealing a glance at Yoko.

"Oh, I have been here few times after joining the university, but I knew about this one from the time it opened, they have another one that's been open for like 15 years now, I have been to that one many times with my dad when I was very young, that one's near his workplace." She explained.

I know woman, after all it was my parents who opened it, Faye thought.

Obviously, she wouldn't say it out loud.

"Yoko..." Faye called out and Yoko hummed in response.

"Why did you thought you were hallucinating when I called your name?"

"Well, that's what happens when someone disappears on you for a month, you'll know when someone disappears on you." Yoko said laughing.

My own blood disappeared on me for 12 years now, who will know that better than me, Faye thought bitterly.

"I'm really sorry for what I did." Faye uttered sadly.

"No, it's fine I understand why did that," Yoko said lightly squeezing Faye's shoulder. "But no need to avoid being around me, I don't care what people have to say, we know our truth and that should be enough."
