Epilogue Part 4: Fan Reactions and Group DynamicsThe next day, the Omega X members sat together in the living room, a relaxed atmosphere hanging in the air as they scrolled through their phones. But there was an undercurrent of excitement—especially after the group photo they'd taken the night before.
Hangyeom sat on the couch, scrolling through his own Instagram feed, trying to pretend he wasn't nervous about the fan reaction. His eyes darted over the comments, reading them out loud as they came in.
"Okay, okay, this one says, 'Do Yoon and Ju Ha-hyung are so cute together! I ship them so hard! 💖'... Ugh, they're already starting," Hangyeom groaned, his head falling into his hands.
Xen leaned over, peering at his phone. "Don't worry, you're just giving the fans what they want! Besides, they'll all probably love the 'Do Yoon-Ju Ha' ship even more after this," he teased, nudging Hangyeom's shoulder.
Yechan looked up from his own phone, grinning. "You know, the fans are calling you two 'Do Ha' now," he said with a playful raise of his eyebrow.
"Do Ha?" Hangyeom repeated, staring at the screen. "That's... actually not bad." He paused. "But still. We were just having fun. And now I'm stuck in this ship, aren't I?"
Jungha, who'd been quietly watching the exchange, snorted. "Welcome to the world of fan culture. It's a lot of 'fun'... and a lot of confusion," he said, offering a grin as he leaned back in his chair.
Seungwoo looked up, eyes twinkling with mischief. "I see why the fans are into this. You two have this... energy. Kind of like you've been doing this for years." He raised his eyebrows, almost teasing. "It's like you're already the perfect couple."
Jungho couldn't resist adding, "Maybe we should just start calling you 'Do Ha' for real. Save the fans some time."
The room burst into laughter, with Hangyeom groaning and throwing a pillow at Jungho. "This is why I didn't want to do the live! You guys are all going to make it worse!"
But Jungha only laughed, shaking his head. "Come on, it's all part of the fun. Let them have their fantasies." He turned to Hangyeom, an amused look in his eyes. "Besides, if the fans like it, I'm all for it."
As the teasing continued, Hangyeom's phone buzzed again. This time, it was a message from their group chat, and he winced as he opened it. The rest of the Omega X members had all been bombarding him with their comments, laughing over how popular "Do Ha" was becoming.
"Looks like 'Do Ha' is trending now. Congratulations, Hangyeom! You've created a monster," Xen teased, his eyes gleaming with amusement.
"I swear I didn't do this on purpose," Hangyeom grumbled, though the corners of his mouth betrayed him, twitching upward. He couldn't help it; the teasing was lighthearted, and despite his embarrassment, he enjoyed spending time with the members.
Jungha leaned over, reading the messages with a wry smile. "I guess this means I'm part of the fan club now too, huh?"
"Not just a member," Yechan added. "You're the hyung of the fan club. Can you handle the responsibility?"
Jungha shot him a mock glare. "I think I can handle it. But Hangyeom better be prepared for more of this. We're in it together now."
Hangyeom sighed dramatically. "Great. Now I'll never hear the end of it."
But deep down, he knew the teasing was all in good fun. Despite the occasional awkwardness, being part of Omega X meant he had his bandmates—and now Jungha—by his side. Together, they could weather anything the fans threw at them.
And as Hangyeom scrolled through the comments once more, he couldn't help but smile at one that stood out: "Do Ha forever. You two are perfect."
He looked up at Jungha, who caught his eye and grinned. Maybe the fans were onto something after all.
