"I'll have a moscow mule, please," Y/n said to the bartender once they settled at the bar. "Oh, fancy, y/n!" Miss Olsen bantered mischievously. "I'll have one too. And also two shots of tequila, please."
"Hey, who said I liked tequila?"
"Oh, you poor thing. Those are for me." Y/n audibly gasped, as the both of them chuckled. The bartender was quick to bring them their drinks and they both started drinking immediately.
"Miss Olsen! I never thought of you as a heavy drinker. You always seem so... uptight."
"I already told you to stop calling me that for tonight. You keep reminding me that you're my student and that I'm out drinking with you," Miss Olsen grabbed one shot of tequila and downed it all in one gulp. She closed her eyes as the liquor traveled down her throat. "This is totally against the rules." She seemed conflicted but did nothing to change the situation.
"Well, it's a good thing you're not my teacher tonight, Elizabeth," Y/n grabbed her drink and raised it. "Cheers, for new friendships."
Miss Olsen chuckled and clinked her drink with y/n's. "Hey. You'll speak to no one about this, is that clear?" Her piercing green eyes found y/n's, almost challenging her.
"I love it when you get pushy, Olsen." Y/n challenged her back. Miss Olsen opened her mouth, surprised by the younger woman's response. "Didn't your mother teach you to respect your authorities?"
Their playful banter slowly became more tense. Y/n felt a familiar burning between her legs, but she knew she had to hold back.
"Oh, so now you want to bring out the teacher card? See, that's not fair." She sipped on her drink. The eyeliner emphasized Miss Olsen's eyes beautifully, and even though y/n had noticed it before in the photoshoot, now, being so close to her, they had a captivating effect. They were like magnets, it was impossible to stop looking at them.
Miss Olsen smirked. "I like being in control." She whispered, but it was loud enough so y/n could hear.
Y/n choked with her drink, coughing as she tried to breathe properly. Elizabeth giggled and patted y/n's back with the palm of her hand gently.
"I'm," Y/n took a second to breathe. "Who are you? And what have you done to my literature teacher? The one who's always so formal and anxious?"
"That's what happens when you give me tequila, darling." She said, downing the other shot in a second. "Hey, hey! Slow down! We have all night." Y/n said laughing and taking the empty shot from the woman's hand.
"Why wait?" Miss Olsen winked, switching her sitting position on the bar stool, almost falling. Y/n grabbed her arm firmly to help her. "Oh, Elizabeth. You're really something when you're drunk. It hasn't even been 15 minutes since we got here." She sipped on her moscow mule, noticing she had barely drunk half of it, while Miss Olsen had already taken two shots of tequila and still had a moscow mule to drink.
"It had been a while since the last time I went out," She said, calmer now. Y/n noticed the change of humor. "The divorce thing has had me on edge for the past few months, and I actually hadn't had the time to go out and have some fun, so thank you for this, y/n."
Y/n's gaze softened, giving the other woman a sympathetic smile. "I am truly sorry for that situation. I don't want to pressure you, but we can talk about it if you want to."
The older woman's eyes displayed sadness once again, but she looked down trying to hide it. "It's just..." she paused to take a deep breath. She then took a sip from her moscow mule.
"Robert and I got married too young. I feel like we didn't know what we were actually doing and acted on impulse. We have been having problems for about 3 years now. But a few months ago, I suggested we should get away for the weekend, just to change things up and try to reconnect. We found a cute Airbnb cabin 2 hours away on the mountains, but he canceled last minute saying he had to 'work all weekend', so I ended up going to the cabin alone."
