Scarlett turned then whispered to Mattheo;

"Plan. Starts. Now!"

"Oh, okay. Do you want to dance?" Mattheo replied, first sounding confused, then turning flirty. Scarlett grinnned.

"Of course!" They walked to the floor. One of Scarlett's favorite songs were playing. It was 'the boy is mine', by Arianna Grande.

"The boy is mine

I can't wait to try him

Le-let's get intertwined

The stars, they aligned

The boy is mine

Watch me take my time

I can't believe my mind

The boy is divine

Boy is mine."

As she and Mattheo awkwardly swayed to the beat, sh e thought about the lyrics of the song. She perfectly matched her emotions with the song. Theo was hers, and she would so anything to make Daphne see that. Thinking of Theo made her decide to look his way. Her blood boiled. He wasn't even looking in her direction. He was listening intently to Astoria and Daphne talk all about their summer in New York, blah blah blah. She saw Draco was also listening in. Scarlett knew that if they got Draco, who was Scarlett's (overprotective) twin brother's attention, they would get the whole group's attention. As if he was sensing her thoughts, Mattheo said

"They're not listening. I think we have to do something big." Scarlett nodded.

"Maybe we go over and talk to them?" Scarlett suggested.

"That's a great idea." Mattheo smirked. "Let's go!" Draco was the first to notice them.

"Hey Lottie!" He greeted his sister cheerfully "And company..." His warm tone faded to cold as ice.

"Hi Scarlett." Astoria greeted politely.

"Hey Scarlett. Jinx!" Daphne and Theo said at the same time.

"Jink, padlock!" Daphne was one step ahead, of course. "Now Tori and I can lose 1/2 of our interruptions." Daphne, Draco, and Astoria laughed. Theo pulled up his phone and typed something. Daphne's phone pinged. "Ha, ha, very funny." She said, silently reading his message.

"What does it say?" Mattheo asked, trying, and failing, to be nonchalant. Daphne didn't notice, however, replying.

"It's an inside joke."

"Which one?" Astoria asked.

"Billy Joe." Daphne replied. Astoria groaned.

"What is it the one about how he'll give me Billy's number?" Astoria asked. Daphne nodded.

"And I know you'd call him, so..." Daphne pointed out.

"Damn." Draco said "well, I can't be the only boy speaking in this conversation, so, does anyone know Theo's middle name?" Draco's phone pinged "Oliver?" Draco laughed "Theodore Oliver Nott." Draco said Theo's name. Theo sighed in relief.

"And now thanks to Daphne, Draco knows my middle name." Theo grumbled. The group laughed.

Mattheo cleared his throat, reminding the group that he and Scarlett were there.

Scarlett laughed. "I think I'm still getting used to these American 'jinx' rules." She shook her head, rolling her eyes. Daphne and Astoria looked slightly offended, but they tried to hide it.

Scarlett cleared her throat, feeling the need to reassert her presence. "So... did you all have a fun summer?"

"Oh, yeah," Daphne replied, her eyes lighting up as she recounted their time in NYC. "Astoria and I practically lived at every cafe downtown. And our cousin showed us the best spots in Brooklyn."

"Really?" Mattheo cut in, feigning interest as he glanced sideways at Scarlett. "Sounds... fun."

Astoria chuckled, noting his attempt to keep up. "It was. New York's always an adventure. And we got to meet some of our mom's old friends. She grew up there, so it's like our second home."

Theo leaned back, nodding along. "Daphne's been showing us all the photos. Honestly, New York seems incredible. My dad said that we might have to plan a trip ourselves."

Scarlett fought to keep her composure, but it was clear her "plan" wasn't landing as she'd hoped. Theo and Daphne seemed oblivious to her intentions, more entertained by sharing their memories than by the attempt to divert their attention. Mattheo, catching onto Scarlett's irritation, gave her a nudge.

"Guess we have to step our game." He whispered.

"Try flirting with her." Scarlett whispered back.

"Got it." Mattheo replied. Suddenly, so lost in their conversation, they were brought back by the group chanting

"Roast fight! Roast fight!" It was Daphne against Millicent.

"You know, it's been a few years now, but it's funny how you still like to talk about Adrien, even after everything that happened." Millicent said cuttingly.

"Do I actually? No, I don't. Get over yourself." Daphne dramatically rolled her eyes.

"Funny how you acted so hurt, like you'd never get over it. But look at you now. I guess it didn't take long, huh?" Millicent shot back.

"To you half a year is a short time isn't it. But I guess when you were 14, you weren't struggling from the biggest betrayal of you life." Daphne pointed out. The raw and unfiltered emotion was so clear in her voice. But it was backed up with sass, and sarcasm.

"Must've been tough for you, huh? Getting tossed aside like that. I mean, I don't blame him, you kind of suck as a friend. I can't imagine you as a girlfriend." Millicent sassed.

"Don't talk about my sister like tha-" Astoria began.

"Tori, it's fine. This is between me and Millicent." Daphne began. She then directed her tone at Millicent. "I'm sorry for your loss, by the way. But you know what they say; how you start a relationship is how you end it. Aidrien never did go to those therapy sessions to work on his loyalty, did he? In fact I have pics of where he actually went." Daphne pulled out her phone and showed the pictures from earlier that day of Cho and Aidrien making out. Millicent stood in shock.

"The-these have to be photoshopped!" Aidrien exclaimed, a tremor in hid voice.

"These are from your Instagram." Theo put in.

"Aidrien does have a history of being a cheater." Astoria added.

"So now you need friends to defend you?!" Millicent laughed, trying to her disetlement.

"Actually, I don't. You do. Oh wait, you don't have any. You betrayed them all."  Daphne retorted. "I really am sorry though. But at least you're 17, not 14. Oh, and Adrien? Don't go around telling people you wee my first love, because you weren't."

"It was SGE! And no, those aren't their initials!" Astoria called out as Draco, she, Daphne, and Theo walked away.

As the group walked, Astoria added silently in her head "And SGE just happens to be Daphne's current boyfriend." The code name for Theo was only known by the sisters and Pansy. It was based on the fact that Daphne's nickname for Theo was Teddy. SGE stood for The School for Good and Evil, and there was a character with the nickname Teddy. They had used the code ever since.

"Let's follow them." Scarlett whispered. Mattheo nodded in agreement.
