The drive to the mall was full on CHAOS. Changbin and Han had decided that it was a good idea to start wrestling in the car causing Hyunjin to get knocked in the nose by an elbow, Felix to spill his drink, and Lee Know to start clawing at the two when they woke him up.
Y/n's (e/c) eyes twitched with every shout, growl, and cry as she just kept her eyes forward. Hyunjin's wailing about his 'perfect snout being ruined' filled the whole car, drowning out the music. 'It's like I'm driving around a bunch of kids...' the (h/c) haired female thought as she pulled into the parking lot. Passerby's began to whisper and giggle, while some would look at her in pity, understanding her frustration since they were either parents or hybrid owner's themselves.
"Alright listen up!, you either calm down or I'm driving your asses back home." her voice sounded over the chaos as she glared at them from the review mirror. That seemed to get them to quieten down immediately, well almost all of them.....
Hyunjin was still fussing over his nose while Minho hissed at him when he sulked into his arms. The feline male not being happy due to Changbin and Han waking him up from his cat nap. Y/n massaged her temples before running a hand down her face, meeting their eyes once more.
"Come on, let's go get your things." she sighed as she unbuckled herself and unlocked the doors. Minho was immediately at her, holding onto her arm. The poor male's eyebags could be seen on his beautiful face and Y/n couldn't help but admire him.
"Can we please get this over with so I can go back to sleep.." Minho sighed groggily while rubbing his eyes. Y/n couldn't help but slightly frown in concern for the taller feline male.
"How about you turn into your cat form and I'll carry you while you sleep?" she offered with a soft smile gracing her face. Minho didn't know if it was the trick of the light or something but to him it looked as if a halo appeared over her head while a choir sang.
The feline male nodded ecstatically before immediately turning into his jaguar form and hopped into her arms. Y/n silently thanked god that she had been working out because if she hadn't then she would have been crushed by the large cat's weight. Minho snuggled into her neck as she held him like a baby, The other hybrid's faces showing an expression of shock.
"h-how are you able to lift him!?" Changbin said excitedly, his own stubby little bear tail wiggling happily behind him.
"I've been working out a lot. Since I will be opening up my own bakery soon I need to be able to lift all the heavy equipment and boxes." she explains while walking with them into the mall.
Suddenly she gets an idea, rushing over to a cart she used one of her hands to pull one out of the row and placed the sleeping jaguar inside. Taking another cart she handed it to Bangchan, due to him being the most responsible one.
"I'll push Minho and you guys put the things we're going to get in Bangchan's cart, ok?" she said while taking the large list out of her bag. The hybrids eagerly nodded their heads as they tailed you, almost looking like ducklings following after their mother.
'The first thing on the list was food for the house, so the food store should be over.... ah there!' Y/n thought to herself as she entered a large store named 'Foodies'. (shush I tried lmao)
As they entered the store the many aisles and colors of the different foods and ingredients began to invade the hybrids senses, their noses picking up the many different spices and condiments. Their ears twitching to the sound of the bustling people, cries of children who couldn't get what they wanted, and carts skidding and squeaking against the tiled floor as the shoppers moved about.
Y/n cringed slightly as a sobbing child laid thrashing around on the floor, snot dripping down their red face as they screamed and cried for a 'Ultra Mega Duplex Barbie Estate Mansion', a toy that costed.... $970!? Has the children of today gone fucking insane!!!
Making sure to avoid the snot nosed, red faced crying brat, she offered the mother a comforting pat on the back and a small encouraging smile while mouthing the words 'You got this.'. To which the single mother just smiled in thanks before turning towards the screaming girl with a stern look on her face. Oh boy did that kid get it...
Y/n walked away from the situation but quickly stopped when she heard Seungmin yelp in pain and the same kid from before now crying for.. him!
"I want the puppy! I want I want I want it now!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs as she yanked poor Seungmins tail.
"I'm so sorry miss... Anastasia leave the poor man alone this instant!" The mother scolded her child who in return just screamed louder.
Anastasia was a small girl dressed in a frilly pink tutu with a crown atop her brunette hair, her brown eyes bloodshot from all her crying and her once tan skin taken over by a bright red color. Her medium length hair lay in 2 pigtails held together with 2 large pink bows.
"It's alright ma'am, I know how children can be. I know how to deal with this but you need to trust me, ok?" Y/n said kindly to the single mother, who in return just nodded, as Y/n squatted down in front of the child, redirecting her attention.
"Listen sweetheart this here is my hybrid, my family. You can't have him, nor can you hurt him you hear me?, Scream at your mother or hurt someone again and I will get the police involved, alright?" Y/n said sternly as the little girl just nodded in return. Letting go of Seungmin's tail she immediately ran to her mother and apologiesed.
"Thank you miss.." the mother said softly before picking up the small girl and continuing their shopping.
"Well that was something... You ok Seungmin?" Y/n asked as she checked the dog hybrid's tail.
"I am now, thanks to you" he replied while his tail wagged.
Y/n smiled in return and returned back to her cart. As they continued shopping for food Bangchan's cart was now full of different meats, vegetables, fruits, nuts, spices, ingredients such as; flour, sugar, eggs, milk, etc. as well as different snacks. Making it to the check out Y/n had to scold a few of them sometimes whenever they got out of hand or a bit too rowdy.
"I think we should just order the rest of the things online." Y/n said as she, along with the other's, packed away the shopping bags into the boot. Picking up a still sleeping Minho she placed him into the car while she waited for the rest to get in as well. After the last hybrid buckled up she entered the drivers seat and enjoyed the blissful silence as the hybrids fell asleep.
