"Scott when did you get so good at lacrosse!"

Gwyn shouted, trudging through the water.

"Did you not feel the need to tell me you're on steroids or something?!"

Stiles and Scott looked at her horrified

"Scott, that was, no offence, in no way possible for you unless you're on something "

He jumped over a log

"Gwyn I am not taking steroids and I don't know what it was, it felt like I had all the time in the world to catch the ball, and that's not the only weird thing that's been happening"

Gwyn followed the boys shaking at the sand clinging to her converse.

"I hear stuff I shouldn't be able to hear"

Scott spoke about ten metres away.

Gwyn turned cautiously staying still "Smell things"

 "Smell things, like what?"

Stiles switched into his even more annoying than usual phase.

Gwyn's eyes widened she jumped up catching the log about 3 metres upwards, she swung herself onto it and watched, well, listened

"Like the mint mojito gum in your pocket"

 Scott answered.

She sniffed and also caught a whiff.

She held her face.

 What was happening to her?

 "I don't even have any-"

 Stopping the voice then retorted

"So all this started with the bite..."

A twig snapped causing Gwyn to perk up.

She slowly stood and eyed the forest.

Another step, rustling the leaves softly.....Almost as if whatever it was didn't want to be heard.

She ran down the hill.

Making sure to hide behind the trees if there wasn't enough closure.

When she passed Scott and Stiles, Scott looked in her direction, she pressed her back against it, steadying herself.

She could hear her heart beat slow.

 Stiles then shouted"Where's Gwyn?"

She made sure it was clear and ran through the trees.

She noticed how fast she was, jumping over logs and stones, dodging trees.

 It wasn't natural.

 A clearing appeared up ahead.

She froze.

A twig snapped signaling a predator.

She crouched down and listened out.

She heard a small thump and gripped a stick.

She got up then threw the stick at the figure behind her.

He caught it.

He had black short quiffed hair, a forest of stubble, green eyes and a leather jacket.
