In a beautiful, quiet meadow, by the tall trees, lived Milo, a small rabbit with soft brown fur and bright curious eyes.

His best friend was Luna, a wise owl whose feathers twinkled under the moonlight.

Every year, as spring begins, Milo and Luna search for the Starflower—a rare magical flower that glows at night and appears only once a year.

According to legends, anyone who finds it can make one special wish.

This year, as always, Milo and Luna are excited to find the Starflower. They search together near the old oak tree, where Milo hops through the fields while Luna uses her sharp eyes to spot the smallest details.

But a day before the Starflower blooms, Luna doesn’t arrive. Milo waits, but she doesn’t come. He started to worry, as Luna has never been late before.

As the sun sets and the Starflower begins to glow, Milo feels even more alone. He calls for Luna, but there’s no answer. He approaches the glowing flower, tired from searching.

Then, in the final moment, he hears a gentle hoot from afar. It’s Luna! She lands nearby, a bit tired but smiling, with a small bruise on her wing but otherwise okay.

“Sorry, Milo.” Luna says, landing beside him. “I was helping a family of squirrels who got stuck during the storm. It took longer than I expected.”

Milo feels relieved. “But... what about the Starflower? It’s glowing now, and we haven’t made our wish.” he says, looking at its sparkle.

Luna smiles and says, “Milo, you’re the one who found it. You should make your wish.”

But Milo looks at Luna and smiles back. “I don’t need to wish for anything. Because I already have you.”

Surprised, Luna smiles, too. “You’re right, Milo. I don’t need any wish, either. The most important thing is having a friend like you.”

Together, they sat beside the Starflower, and though they didn't make a wish, they both knew they’ve already found the most valuable thing in the world—a true friend.
