Tae stir and slowly open his eyes. The first thing is her face in front of his eyes. She's nestled comfortably in the blankets, her breathing steady, her face softened in complete relaxation.
He watches her quietly, noticing the way her hair spills over the pillow and the gentle rise and fall of her chest with each breath. He takes in every detail, from the delicate lines of her face to the small, endearing quirks. He reaches over, brushing a stray hair from her cheek, careful not to wake her.

He still feel that anxiousness and fear he felt with the thought of losing her. He close his eyes for a moment with shaky breath. He knows, he is losing it, he shouldn't get attached. He shouldn't get effected or care or get.... Habitual.

"Husband" her soft still sleepy voice call him. He open his eyes and look at her. She is rubbing her eyes while her long silky hairs framing her face. Sunlight is making her hair looks golden brown. It's not like he never saw a girl under sunlight before but he can't tear away his eyes from her.
Y/N look at him and smile with her faint dimple. Tae unconsciously take a nervous deep breath. He looks away while clearing his throat "w-what huh? Smiling like an idiot." Y/N pout "you always act so mean with me husband.... Bad... Bad... Husband."

Tae roll his eyes and Y/N gasp "you again did it... That eyes.... I know u are a zumba." Tae nod sarcastically "yes.... I am and if u don't stop... I'll eat you alive." She run to the bathroom with a loud scream "NO!!! MUMMAAA!!!!". He cover his ears "damn it!."

Tae groan in pain as he tried to get up from bed. His whole body is aching. He stumble and about to fall when Y/N hold him "husband" her face is filled with concern. "Why are you moving? You are really veryyyy hurt." Tae sigh in annoyance at his condition "I feel sick okay?! I don't want to stay like this... I want to feel fresh and clean!."

He groan in pain, Y/N again guide him to bed. He close his eyes as the pain in his ribs hit him hard. Y/N look at him with her doe shaped eyes, filled with concern. She just want to take away all his pain but she don't know how? She feels sudden anger that she never felt before... On herself. She can't understand this feeling, it's too new for her... The feeling of helplessness.

Tae breath heavily while holding his ribs. He takes deep breaths to calm himself and lean on bed with close eyes. "Husband" Tae sigh in frustration and open his eyes but get shock. She is standing there with a small tub of lukewarm water and a towel.

Y/N smile while her eyes lit up "mumma clean me once like this when I had fever." Tae look at him silently, he don't like the idea to be dependent on anyone "I don't need this... Go away." Y/N frown cutely, "why? You said you feel dirty I-."

Tae stop her while showing his palm and look away feeling pain again. Y/N remain silent but slowly sit on edge of bed. She bites her lower lip nervously but slowly dip the towel in water.

Y/N shift beside him, a damp towel in her hands. With gentle, meticulous movements, she dabs at his wounds, her face a mask of quiet concentration and care.

Her hands are soft, cautious, as if she's afraid of causing him more pain. Every now and then, she glances up at him, looking for any sign of discomfort or protest. His face remains cold, stoic, but she senses the subtle shifts in his breathing, the way his jaw tightens when she presses too hard.

Tae keep staring at wall while she clean his face very softly and carefully. He didn't show a single emotion but his heart is thumping against his ribs. Y/N hold his hand and softly clean it. Tae look at her and something about her captive him completely. Maybe it's her damp long hair or her concentrated face or her concern for him.

Y/N smile happily when she finishes cleaning him "husband see you are clean now." Tae look at her smiling like a kid get her favourite candy. He look away "y-yeah whatever." She pouts at his reaction and walks away while mumbling to herself of him being mean.

Tae look at her walking away while mumbling in anger with a pout. A small unnoticed smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
~
Y/N with really difficulty make soup for him and walk back to bedroom where he is just staring at th view from balcony while sitting on bed "husband.... See I make soup for you!!." She grin, he look at her then at the tray she is holding with a bowl of soup. His heartbeat quicken at her efforts "why you did it huh? Did I ask you ?!."

Y/N mumble in pout "but if someone is hurt or sick they take soup." Tae sighs "fine give it." She grin again and place the tray in his lap. Tae look at the little spill soup in tray. He held the spoon and slowly raised it to his mouth but his wrist didn't move properly because of the bandage.

Y/N look at it with her wide eyes. Tae keep trying but spill it on his shirt a little. She fidge her dress nervously "h-husband." He look at him in annoyance as he is already frustrated. She hesitantly takes spoon from his hand and brings it closer to his mouth.

Tae look at her hand reach forward, offering him sip. Her face, close to his, shows concentration, gentleness in her eyes and patience as she waits for him to take careful mouthful. He slowly accept it, his eyes are stuck at her.

He looks at her fingers steadying the spoon and then lifting her gaze to his, her expression softened with concern. Every small movement seems to blur the pain, each touch a balm. He's never seen her in this light before, it's as if he's noticing the curve of her smile for the first time, the way her eyes crease slightly with worry, the warmth radiating from her.

He lets the warmth of the soup slide down his throat, but it's something else that settles over him-a warmth that grows in his chest, more surprising than any pain he felt. He feels a pull toward her, an unspoken closeness. And as she dabs a little soup from his lip with her thumb, he feels a stirring he can't quite name-gratitude, perhaps, but something more, something deeply, unexpectedly tender.

The way she shake her head with a smile. For the first time, he noticed the details he'd always overlooked: the soft curve of her cheek, the glimmer of determination in her eyes, and the quiet strength in her every movement. And as she watched him with that gentle focus, he felt something shift, something deep and unfamiliar stirring, a feeling he hadn't expected but couldn't ignore.

Y/N softly wipe his lips with tissue "how was the soup husband you didn't even tell me." She pout, his eyes didn't move away from her face and it's like words stuck in his throat, he just nod. She giggle in happiness that it was good and walks out with empty bowl. Tae slowly places his hand on his chest as an attempt to slow down the loud thumping.

~
At night, Y/N is playing with her dolls when she look at Tae. He's trying to apply ointment on his wounds but can't move his wrist fully. She silently stare at him as he is trying his best. She slowly get up and walk to him, who is sitting with unbuttoned shirt "h-husband... I can do it... I'm a big girl."

Tae look at her, she take the ointment from him. He winces slightly as she apply it. Her hands are tender yet careful, her touch filled with a quiet grace. He watches her, his expression softening as her fingers move over his skin. The closeness between them, the way she tends to him with such care, stirs something deep within him.

Y/N hands unconsciously shake as she place it on his bare torso. Her cheeks heat up, she don't know why but she feels shy. She looks up at him briefly, their eyes meeting. A small, almost imperceptible smile forms on her lips, and her gaze lingers, a subtle connection building in the quiet of the room. His breath catches slightly, his heart racing as her touch, her own heart beating faster.

Tae notice the blush on rosy cheeks and a slight unnoticed smile play at the corner of his lips. He notice her hair strands and softly tug it behind her ear. She halt and look up at him. Their eyes meet again, a spark of something deeper flickers in both of them. Each moment, each touch, feels like the beginning of something new, something deeper.

What began as a simple act of care has blossomed into something more tender, more intimate. Their connection deepens, and without a word, they both sense the shift-the warmth of their shared moment drawing them closer, both physically and emotionally.
