It was a beautiful sunny day, and Iverine walked along the shore, her eyes darting curiously between the different ships docked there. Her dark hair hung in loose waves, framing her blue eyes and emphasizing her casual look. Wearing a white tank top and denim shorts, she exuded a carefree vibe. After ten minutes of observing, she finally approached the shabbiest-looking ships. Several old sailors glanced in her direction as she walked up.

"How much does it cost to cross over there?" she asked, pointing towards the distant land.

The old sailors exchanged glances and muttered amongst themselves before the oldest man among them spoke up.

"It'll set you back a pretty credits, lass. Times are hard and the seas aren't always as kind as we'd like. Crossing over there won't be cheap."

Iverine held her ground, her hands on her hips. "What's the price?" she asked, her voice firm.

The old man eyed her up and down, taking in her casual attire and assessing her resolve. He scratched his beard thoughtfully before finally answering.

"It'll be 200 credits, no less," he said. "We don't make this trip lightly, and the captain and his crew need to get paid for the risk they're taking. Plus, there's the fuel and supplies to consider."

Iverine mulled it over, but there was no way she was going to pay that much for a 45-minute ride across the water. "No thanks, that's a bit pricey," she replied with feigned nonchalance. As she walked away, she muttered under her breath, "I'll find another

The old man watched her retreating figure with a puzzled expression on his face. He wasn't used to being turned down so easily, especially from a young girl who looked like she had money to spare.

"Well, suit yourself, lass," he called after her. "But don't come crawling back when the sea gets choppy."

Iverine continued walking along the shoreline until she reached the crumbling cliffs that overlooked the waters. As she stood there, contemplating her options, her thoughts raced through her mind.
I really don't want to get soaked, she mused quietly. Taking a deep breath, she scanned her surroundings to ensure no one was watching. Satisfied that she was alone, she slowly spun her seashell-shaped necklace. With a leap of faith, she plunged into the cool depths of the sea.

As soon as the water enveloped her, Iverine's legs transformed into a dazzling blue tail. Now a mermaid, she marveled at her beautiful new form before propelling herself gracefully through the water towards the distant land.

She moved swiftly and silently through the water, her powerful tail creating barely a ripple on the surface. The journey was surprisingly effortless, and Iverine found herself approaching the shore of the new land far faster than she had anticipated.

As she neared the shoreline, Iverine paused and twisted her seashell necklace once more. Almost instantly, her gills receded and her shimmering blue tail dissolved, replaced by her regular human legs. She emerged from the water, her clothes and hair clinging damply to her body, evidence of her brief aquatic transformation.

The bald man glanced at Iverine with curiosity. "Where are you headed to?"

Iverine met his gaze and answered confidently, "Tatooine."
