The triplets siblings widen their eyes in shock and terror.
-" I know it. All of you were hiding here" Rurahel grinned. The three of them become paled and trembling. "My little babies!!!" Rurahel said.
-" Mother was looking for you~" Rurahel said with a fake sweet voice.
-" It's starting again...";" Just close the door. Close it" The maids said then close the door, leaving the triplets with their abused mother.
Arjen and Arien hide Aliza behind them who is just trembling in fear.
How could them!...Just watching and turn a blind eye to the abused children!!!...
Rurahel take the nearest vase and throw it beside Arien, making her fall down while Arjen and Aliza catching her with a worry face.
-" That vase...Wasn't a pretty color. Mother will replace it with a prettier one~" Ruraahel smile at them.
Rurahel grab Arjen shoulder. "Baby, mother is talking to you" Arjen look at her in fear and gulped.
-" Have you three also...His majesty abandoned me...but even you three have..." Rurahel 'cried'.
Rurahel was definitely not in her right mind as usual. Someone who constantly drowned herself in alcohol and abused her children couldn't possibly be mentally stable.
Aliza thought in her mind. Arien slowly get up and hold Aliza hand. They slowly walk away but Rurahel glare at them. "WHERE ARE YOU THREE RUNNING OFF TO?!!" She shouted and slapped Arien but Aliza has stand before her and took the slap instead.
'As i endured this...i should be grateful that her nails is shorter than usual, and she's not wearing any rings' Aliza fall at the floor while Arjen and Arien sit beside worriedly.
Rurahel tighten her fits and hold Aliza wrist. "Aliz!!!" Arjen and Arien shout worriedly "SHUT UP!" Rurahel shout and drag Aliza toward her. "YOU! YOU LITTLE BRAT! YOU SHOULD JUST HAVE DIE!" Rurahel kept hitiing Aliza until she felt like satisfy and then left.
Arjen and Arien run to Aliza body. "Aliza!!!" They shout and shake her tiny body in horror. "She bleeding in her mouth! The healing abilities is not fast enough!" Arien shout and cry while Arjen carried Aliza body to the bed.
-" Here, the first aid kit" Arien said and give Arjen the kit. Arjen quickly treat their little sister.
~~10 minutes later ~~
-"Done..." Arjen sigh in relief. Arien put her palm at Aliza forehead. "She have a fever..." She said and go take a clothe.
-'Since we got hit on a daily basis, we got use to it...Thought it hurt...it didn't seem like such a big deal. Even if we got hurt, we could ignore it. The pain from such wounds despite our imperial blood and enhanced healing abilities...Who would understand us?...' Arien thought while tooking care or Aliza.
-' I have no desire to be like the other royals'
~~ 2 days later~~
It's has been 2 days since that day. Aliza fever have gone down and she was fine. They deided to go out and climb the tree near the imperial palace.
-"...Do you think someday, we'll be able to escape?" Arjen asked us. The girls stay silent. 'I can answer it...Even if i did not hope...At that point, i did not dream that a different life is waiting for us...' Aliza think.
Arien think of the past. The time 6 years ago when that woman approach the emperor and convince us to rise up the social ladder. She was a commoner that became the stepdaughter of a viscount and was both intelligent and beautiful enough to approach the emperor. He has just favour her for only one night. If we, the newborns, hadn't born with blonde hair and Aliz with his eyes color, we probably would've be killed by him already. The only thing i can recall is the emperor granting us our names.
-'So what?He abandoned us at this castle and we have been neglected ever since. He force us to live like this' Arien thought.
The emperor has no interest in us, and all the money sent by the palace is used for Rurahel's luxury lifestyle. There isn't enough money, and when the maid realized we've been abadoned, they start to ignore and bully us. At this age, we shoulf be care for but we hardly fed and always worry about Rurahel or the maids hitting us. We might be royal blood but the difference between the princes in the palace and us are like heaven and hell.
'Beautiful' Arien said in her mind. Arjen stand up and shields his sisters. "What are you doing-" Arjen get cutting of Arien voice in his mind.
- Someone's here Aliza said telepathic to Arien.
-Huh? Arien
Suddenly a tall body in front of them. They widen their eyes and gulped.
-'Who?' Arien
-'Who is he?' Arjen
-"Who are you guys?" The guy asked. The triplets flinch and stay silent. Arien and Arjen raise their hand in front to protect Aliza. "If you don't answer...you will not be able to withstand what might happen to you" He said and glare at them with his purple eyes glowing.
They all flinch.' Such bloodlust. i feel shiver down to my body. This is...Rurahek is nothing compare to him...This is the voice of someone with true authority' Arien think in her mind.
Suddenly the light from the moon hit their face and they can see the man's face clearly.
- He looks fancy Arjen
- He's definitely a noble Aliza
- We should pretend to be scared like normal 5-year-old children Arien
The guy put his hand at his mouth in shocked. *Ha...this...i wasn't expecting...* He muttered
