Despair

Flashback

05th September, 2019.

Mikaela Anderson just transferred to St. Rosario High school where she was all new, she was reluctant to meet new classmates and make friendship with them because she knew once again she'll have to move. Her father was an army personnel who always had to move places due to his transfer. Mikaela was very fed up of it. She had leave behind many of her dearest friends.

That day she was very upset and sulking. Suddenly from behind someone tapped on her shoulder, she turned her face that way and saw a girl standing there. Mikaela was new there, she didn't recognised her but she seemed like a very sweet, innocent girl. Her voice was very sweet. Mikaela faced her.

Mila: Hi, I'm Mila Taylor, the class representative, nice to meet you.

Mikaela: Hi, Mila, I'm Mikaela, I'm the new transferred student here and totally new in this city.

Mila: Yes, I know, I heard from the homeroom teacher. She asked me to show you around the school and make you comfortable here. I'm going to the library to return a book, wanna accompany me?

Mikaela: yes, of course, I'd love to. Thanks for inviting me.

Mila: let's go.

That was the first day, Mikaela and Mila meets and since that day they have been inseparable, they became best friends. They used to study, party, everything together, people even thought they are twins which can't live without another one. They got very close in a very short span of time.

Time flies very fast.

3rd June, 2020

Mila noticed Mikaela seems very happy. She was very happy too to see her happy but she was curious about it.

Mila: Ela (Mikaela's nickname), you seem too elated about something, do you want to make me a part of it?

Mikaela: obviously, I will. But I won't tell you today, I'll show you. I'm just waiting for someone to show up.

Mila curiously asked who? But Mila tells her to be patient enough and just gives her a cue that someone special to her is coming here. Upon hearing that, Mila becomes a bit upset and thinks that if this person is that special then probably she'll be replaced. But Mila keeps it to her.

Mikaela is waiting impatiently for someone to come. Her eyes are wandering around. Mila tells her that their lunch break is gonna be over soon and they should go back to classroom. It makes Mikaela upset a bit. And they start to walk towards their classroom.

Suddenly there's noise behind them. Both of them turn behind and they see...
