Naruto found himself drawn to the city's rooftops, where he could take in the sprawling skyline without interruption. The streets below buzzed with life, people carrying on with their day, unaware of the world's undercurrents or the forces constantly fighting to protect it.

As the night deepened, Naruto's thoughts turned inward. The System's rewards from his battle with Loki had started integrating with his body and mind, and he could feel a new strength humming just beneath the surface. His chakra had become more refined, and an unfamiliar, ethereal energy pulsed alongside it. The System's gift—"Marvel Universe Knowledge Level 2"—seemed to be enhancing his understanding of this world, allowing him to recall details and insights with surprising clarity.

[System Update: Doomsday Adaptation Now Active]

He felt a thrill at the words. His body's potential for resilience was one of his greatest strengths here. The System had adapted him to Loki's magic during the fight, allowing him to withstand blows that should have left him staggered. But he was curious: would his adaptation extend to every power he encountered? How far could it grow?

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a jet engine overhead. Naruto looked up to see Tony Stark descending in his Iron Man suit. As he landed, Tony's helmet lifted, revealing a wry smile.

"Mind if I join you up here?" Tony asked, glancing around. "This is one of my favorite spots to brood."

Naruto chuckled, nodding. "Go ahead."

Tony leaned against the ledge beside him, crossing his arms as he looked out over the city. "You know, it's not every day we see someone go toe-to-toe with Loki like that. You're... different."

Naruto shrugged, trying to downplay it. "I've had some good teachers."

Tony raised an eyebrow. "From another dimension, I assume? Cap mentioned you handled yourself like someone with a lot of experience. You're no rookie, are you?"

Naruto's gaze softened as he thought back to his past—Konoha, his battles, his friends. "No, I'm not. Where I come from, I've fought my share of battles. I guess you could say I'm used to dealing with people like Loki."

Tony watched him, his expression thoughtful. "You know, the Avengers could use someone like you. You're skilled, resourceful... and you seem like you're willing to throw yourself into danger for the right reasons."

Naruto felt a surge of pride, but he hesitated. Joining the Avengers meant fully committing to this world and its people. Could he do that when he was still learning his own powers, still grappling with the loss of his old world?

"I appreciate it, Tony," Naruto said slowly. "But I think I need a little more time to figure things out. I'm still... adjusting."

Tony nodded, a look of understanding in his eyes. "Fair enough. But keep us in mind. Just don't go rogue on us, okay? We've had enough of that for one lifetime."

Naruto grinned. "Promise."

Tony looked as if he was about to leave, but then he paused, glancing back. "One more thing—Thor's interested in meeting you. I think he sees a kindred spirit in you, maybe even a worthy sparring partner. If you're up for it, I think it'd be good for both of you."

Naruto's eyes lit up. A chance to spar with a god from this world? He could hardly resist the opportunity. "Tell him I'm in. I could use a workout."

The next day, at Avengers Tower...

The Avengers had arranged a private training area for Naruto and Thor, where they could spar without causing too much collateral damage. The rest of the team watched from the observation deck, curious to see how the mysterious shinobi would fare against the God of Thunder.

Thor grinned, his hammer Mjolnir resting casually on his shoulder. "I have heard much of your bravery, Naruto," he said, his voice booming. "It is an honor to face a warrior from another realm."

Naruto nodded, his stance relaxed but alert. "The honor's mine. Let's see if you live up to the hype, Thor."

Thor laughed heartily and swung his hammer, summoning a gust of wind that rushed toward Naruto. But Naruto didn't flinch. He'd fought beings just as powerful in his own world—Pain, Kaguya, even Sasuke. This was just another test.

With a swift motion, Naruto dodged the blast, racing forward to close the distance. Thor met him head-on, Mjolnir colliding with Naruto's chakra-infused kunai. The impact sent shockwaves through the room, causing the Avengers watching from above to brace themselves.

"Not bad!" Naruto shouted over the noise. He could feel the thrill of battle surging through him, his heart pounding as his body adapted to Thor's power.

[Doomsday Adaptation: Absorbing Enhanced Strength Attributes]

The adaptation was subtle, but Naruto could feel his muscles strengthening, his body adjusting to the force of Thor's blows. Each clash made him a little faster, a little tougher.

The two warriors exchanged a flurry of attacks, neither willing to give an inch. Naruto moved with a fluidity that seemed almost supernatural, his agility and speed surprising even Thor.

As they fought, the System chimed again.

Naruto grinned, feeling the new abilities settling within him. His stamina increased, and his reflexes sharpened, allowing him to predict Thor's movements with greater accuracy. With each strike, he felt himself evolving, his power growing to match the challenge.

Finally, with a swift maneuver, Naruto ducked under Thor's swing and countered with a Rasengan to the Asgardian's side. Thor staggered, surprised by the force of the attack, but he laughed, exhilarated.

"Well done!" Thor bellowed, lowering his hammer. "You are indeed a worthy opponent."

Naruto panted, grinning as he caught his breath. "Same to you, Thor. I haven't had a fight like that in a long time."

The two shook hands, both of them battered but exhilarated. The other Avengers looked on, visibly impressed.

Captain America leaned toward Tony. "Looks like we've found ourselves a formidable ally."

Tony nodded, a rare look of respect on his face. "Let's just hope he stays on our side."

Later, as the team gathered in the common area, Naruto joined them, feeling a sense of camaraderie that reminded him of his old friends. For the first time since arriving in this world, he felt like he belonged.

As he sat with them, chatting and sharing stories, the System chimed quietly in his mind.

[Achievement Unlocked: First Allies]

The System displayed a list of new quests, each with objectives tied to building relationships with the Avengers and expanding his powers. It felt almost like the life he'd once led, full of missions and challenges. But this time, he was free from the burdens of his past, able to grow and explore on his own terms.

Naruto looked around at his new allies, a sense of purpose settling over him. He didn't know what the future held, but he was ready to face it—one battle, one friendship, and one adaptation at a time.
