After another long boring day at school Stefan and Kya pull up to the party at the woods.
"You ready?" Stefan asks looking towards his niece.
"As ready as i'll ever be." Kya shrugs getting out of the car she starts to walk the opposite way of her uncle before he yells from behind her.
"Don't drink! Or smoke! Or anything dumb." He lists off excessively. Now she sees where she gets it from.
Kya's uncle was always very protective of her trying to make sure she doesn't make the mistakes he has or god forbid the ones her father has. Growing up her father was also quite protective over her during the founders ball he scared away her date. He did it when she was four all the way to when he left her and her uncle behind. Regardless her uncle was the same way no matter the fact she was over 100 years old she would always be stuck in a child's body continuing to be treated like one.
"Hey, rude girl." Jeremy walks up to the Salvatore girl with a smirk on his face. And a cigarette between his fingers.
"Is that nickname really gonna stick?" The girl giggles shaking her head looking up at the boy.
"I mean kind of has too. You did call me a dumbass. That's pretty rude." He shrugged. As the two casually walk deeper into the forest.
"Well you said I was strange but you guys are all partying in the middle of the woods, Which is totally not normal, by the way." Kya laughs snatching the cigarette from the boy and taking a hit slightly blowing the smoke into his face.
"Hey, that's actually fair enough." The Gilbert boy looks down at the girl snatching the cigarette back. The two look into each others eyes and lean closer together before a scream from Vicky Donovan interrupts the twos moment. Kya quickly stumbled backwards as Jeremy was already on the run for the girl he clearly loved. Kya shook her head before walking the opposite way.

Kya had a drink in her hand as she stood and talked to Caroline.
"Honestly it's starting to get embarrassing. Hey!" Caroline started interrupting herself as Stefan appeared near them. Before Caroline could finish her sentence Stefan grabbed the cup of alcohol out of his nieces hand before dumping it out onto the ground making the teen roll her eyes.
"There you are. Have you been to the falls yet? Because they are really cool at night. I can show you if you want." Caroline rambled making Kya cringe at how desperate she is beginning to seem.
