### Chapter: A Deal with Destiny
The days turned into weeks, and Jonah’s life had taken on a new rhythm. Living with Sarah and Dylan had brought back a sense of joy and belonging that he hadn’t felt in years. The house was constantly filled with laughter, music, and impromptu dance-offs. Jonah’s friends had become his family, helping him rediscover his passion for music and performance.
Their plan to bring Jonah’s talents to the world was already in motion. Sarah had set up social media accounts under his old music name, **Clastiel**, while Dylan took charge of filming his dance routines and cover songs. In no time, Jonah’s videos were gaining traction, and the positive comments flooded in from all corners of the internet.
One night, after a particularly lively jam session in the living room, the group decided to celebrate by going out to a local eatery that Sarah recommended. It was a small, cozy place known for its live music nights, and Jonah, feeling the energy of the moment, was convinced to take the stage.
The dimly lit room was packed with people, the air thick with the scent of grilled food and the hum of conversation. Jonah’s heart raced as he stepped up to the small stage, the spotlight catching the nervous yet determined gleam in his eyes. He hadn’t performed live in years, not since everything had fallen apart. But as the first chords filled the air, a familiar comfort washed over him.
He sang one of his original songs, a soulful ballad that spoke of pain, resilience, and hope. The crowd fell silent, captivated by his raw emotion and the depth of his voice. For a few minutes, it was as if the world outside had disappeared, leaving only Jonah and his music.
As the final note lingered in the air, the room erupted into applause, cheers echoing off the walls. Jonah grinned, a mix of relief and exhilaration flooding his senses. He took a bow, thanking the audience, and quickly rejoined his friends, who were beaming with pride.
But what Jonah didn’t know was that someone else had been watching him that night. In the far corner of the room, a man in a sleek black suit had been observing his every move, a knowing smile playing on his lips.

### The Unexpected Visit
Two days later, Jonah was lounging on the couch, scrolling through the comments on his latest video when the doorbell rang. Sarah, who was in the kitchen, called out, “Jonah, can you get that? My hands are full!”
Jonah got up, not thinking much of it, but as he opened the door, he was met with a surprise. Standing there was the man from the eatery, now flanked by two others who looked equally sharp and professional.
“Good evening,” the man said, extending his hand with a friendly smile. “I’m Mr. Lawson, from **Starlight Records**. I believe we’ve been looking for you, *Clastiel*.”
Jonah’s heart skipped a beat. He hadn’t heard that name in years, not since he had left his old life behind. His mind raced, wondering how they had found him. “I... I think you’ve got the wrong person,” he stammered, instinctively stepping back.
But Mr. Lawson only smiled wider, unfazed by Jonah’s reaction. “Oh, I’m quite sure we’ve found the right person. You see, your music—under the name Clastiel—has been making waves for a while now. Our company has actually been managing your work for the past few years. We’ve been... shall we say, caretakers of your art.”
Jonah’s eyes widened. “Wait, what do you mean? Managing my work? I’ve never signed with any label.”
Mr. Lawson exchanged a look with his colleagues before turning back to Jonah, his tone becoming more serious. “Well, that’s the thing, isn’t it? Your songs were released under an alias, and as luck would have it, they went viral overseas. We’ve been distributing them under our label, thinking we’d never track down the artist behind Clastiel. But then, you made it easy for us, performing live the other night.”
