Tear stains were, once again, left upon Izuku's pillow from the previous hours of his sadness.

He and Katsuki had a huge argument over him continuously coming home extremely late and frustrated, along with taking that frustration out on Izuku.

What he once vowed to never do, he did. His hand raised, and slammed against the freckled cheek he used to kiss good morning.

He hadn't even said good morning in a long while. Did he feel guilty? No. Maybe? He couldn't tell. His thoughts were always overthrown by alcohol, the only thing that seemed to soothe his worries.

Izuku was cuddled in the bed of their four year old, Aoi. (She had been adopted by the two of them a year prior when she was found in the hands of a villian who had heartlessly taken the lives of her parents.)

She had heard them arguing and began to cry, and Izuku had comforted her and winded up falling asleep on her bed.

That morning, Katsuki had been getting ready for work when he noticed Izuku hadn't woken up yet.

A small part of him worried that he had finally given up and left him, but the majority said good riddance.

He hated the small amount of guilt he was beginning to form in his heart; it made him feel weak.

He scoffed silently to himself, grabbing his gauntlets and heading out the door. He hadn't even made sure to emphasize on the slam, though he was not sure why.

"I despise you sometimes,
I love to hate the fight and you in my life is like Sippin' on straight chlorine."
