"I did it! I'm not afraid of them anymore, mom." Y/n started joyfully eating her breakfast.

"I know and I'm proud of you Y/nie, so when am I going to finally meet Taehyung? You aren't even a fan of his work yet you've met him so many times." Mrs. Lee pouted.

"I actually do like his work, now that I really like butterflies. I finally understand why you like it. As far as meeting him, I'm not too sure." Y/n thought.

"What about the photo shoot? Are you guys doing it here or in Seoul?"

"We're shooting here at flower valley and he wants some shots at his studio in Seoul afterwards. He actually flew to Seoul yesterday to get things arranged and he won't be back until next week." She answered.

"Well it sounds like you're going to be awfully busy. What are you going to do about your job at the animal shelter?" Mrs. Lee was concerned.

"I already have that covered, Lisa is taking my shifts till I get back. Well, I gotta go. I still have work until next week. see you later mom." Y/n waved, putting on her shoes and heading through the door.

Y/n greeted her manager and Lisa as she entered the shelter, heading to put down her things and change into her baby blue medical scrubs.

"So what are we dealing with today?" Lisa asked Y/n who was holding a clipboard.

"We are going to an apartment complex twenty minutes away. a lady called early morning saying she found a stray dog outside the complex by the garage can. she said it has a bad limp and it's really skinny and dirty." Y/n read off the paper.

"Then let's go. I'm driving!" Lisa announced, grabbing the keys from behind the front desk.

"Be careful out there, you guys. it rained last night so the roads might still be slippery." the manager, Jennie, yelled at the two as they ran past her.

They reached the address and were met by the woman who called holding a cardboard box, "thank you guys for coming. It's been crying the whole night and I couldn't get it to stop." She said, with red eyes.

Y/n took the box from her gently and saw a small black and tan pomeranian puppy cuddling into a red sweater from the cold wind of the early morning breeze.

The girls thanked the lady and headed back to the shelter and while the puppy was awake and whining, they gave it a thorough cleaning, being sure to check for fleas and ticks before the x-ray.

"It doesn't look broken, so it's probably a minor sprain." Jennie stated, wrapping a bandage around its leg,"since he's still a puppy give him some wet food about three times a day so he can put back on some weight. He'll also need to get his fur trimmed tomorrow."

The puppy was placed in a bared area away from the other dogs with a bed, two bowls for food and water and a few toys.

"Sorry for being late, the bus got stuck in traffic." Ji-eun said entering, already dressed in her scrubs, "who's this little guy?"

"A lady called this morning because she found him behind the garage cans by her apartment complex." Y/n explained, "since you are late it's your turn to empty the litter boxes."

"Why me, unnie? I can't do it soon." Ji-eun whined.

"Nope, i have to take care of my stubby. she needs her bandages changed." She smiled, referring to the cat who only had three legs after being hit by a car.

"Besides Ji-eun, last time I was late you made me do it." Y/n told her.

"Fine but you're helping me."
