The school days grew colder as winter approached, and with each passing week, Jisung and Y/N's lives changed more than they'd ever anticipated. Every moment felt like a balancing act—one filled with the pressure of their families' expectations, the watchful eyes of their peers, and the future they were planning for together.

The small, shared moments between classes or during late-night study sessions had become some of their most precious times together. As they slowly adjusted to the idea of becoming parents, each conversation about their child's future and their plans brought them closer in ways they hadn't expected.

They were both learning to face their circumstances with courage, but it hadn't been easy. After they'd told their families, Y/N's parents had insisted she hide her pregnancy to avoid drawing attention. It was a request that weighed heavily on her, and though she knew it came from a place of worry, she couldn't bring herself to follow through with it.

One afternoon, as they sat together in a quiet corner of the library, Y/N leaned against Jisung's shoulder, her fingers tracing absent-minded circles on the back of his hand.

"I don't want to hide," she said softly, voicing the thoughts that had been weighing on her mind. "I don't want our child to be something I'm ashamed of. I want to be honest about who we are—about who I am."

Jisung's heart swelled at her words. He reached out, cupping her face with his hand and meeting her gaze. "You're stronger than anyone I know, Y/N. And I'll be here, every step of the way. We'll do this together."

Her lips curved into a small smile, the determination in her eyes sparking something in him. Their shared moments were filled with unspoken promises and a strength they hadn't known they possessed.

The next few weeks brought them a series of doctor's appointments, budgeting discussions, and late-night conversations about their dreams and fears for the future. Jisung found himself looking at job postings, thinking about ways he could contribute to the life they were building. He even managed to pick up a few shifts at his uncle's store on weekends, earning a little money that he carefully put away, knowing they'd need it soon enough.

Every step of the way, he felt himself growing up faster than he'd imagined. Each decision held a weight that he hadn't known before, a sense of responsibility that pushed him forward with purpose.

One evening, as they sat together in Y/N's room, surrounded by notebooks filled with plans and ideas for their future, Jisung took her hand in his, holding it gently.

"We're going to make this work," he said quietly, his voice filled with determination. "I'll do whatever it takes to give our child the life they deserve."

Y/N squeezed his hand, her eyes shining with gratitude. "I know, Jisung. And I'm so grateful to have you by my side."

In that moment, they both felt a sense of peace—a quiet confidence that, no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together.
