The sky was shrouded in an ominous darkness, as if night itself had descended. Thunder rumbled in the distance, growing louder with each passing moment. Suddenly, a spark of lightening illuminated the horizon, casting an ethereal glow. The air vibrated with anticipation as the first droplets began to fall a gentle pitter-patter that swiftly intensified into a deafening drumbeat.

Panic set in as he people scrambled for shelter, desperate to escape the torrential downpour. Some lucky ones swiftly unfurled their umbrellas, fragile shields against the deluge.

The darkness seemed to amplify the chaos, as if night itself was conspiring against them. Fearful silhouette hurled through the streets, driven by a primal urge to reach the safety of their homes. No one wanted to be trapped in this malevolent night, where rain-lashed shadows seemed to writhe and twist like living things.

A blood curdling scream pierced the darkness, echoing through the deserted alley. A Young girl, her face contorted in terror, scrambled backward, desperate to escape the ominous figure looming before her. The shadowy form, it's presence seeming to fill the narrow passage, stood motionless, it's features obscured by the darkness. The girl's frantic breaths came in ragged gasps as she clawed at the wet pavement, her eyes fixed on the figure with a mixture of fear and pleading.

The dark figure's face twisted into creepy smirk, revealing in the girls terror. But his expression soon shifted to annoyance, his eyes rolling in irritation. He tsk loudly, the sound echoing through the alley. "Why the hell do they always cry?"He muttered to himself, his voice laced with disdain. It's not like that he going to spare them, no matter how pitiful they look. His gaze narrowed, focusing on the girls trembling form.

"Why are you crying, slut?" He sneered, his deep voice dripping with malice. "Didn't you want to have a little fun?" His words hung in the air like a challenge, but girl remained silent, her body wrecked with painful sobs. The rain-soaked alley echoed with her desperate cries. The girl's sobs intensified, her body trembling uncontrollably. Tears mingled with raindrops on her parched lips. His grin twisted, his eyes flashing with psychosis. He produced a glinting knife, it's blade a cold promise of despair.

"Let's have fun," He winked, his grin stretching wide across his face, a sinister promise of the horrors to come. The girl's loud scream echoed through the alley, a desperate cry for help that went unanswered. Moment later, her lifeless body slumped to the ground, and boy laugh Loudly, the sound echoing off the walls.

He glanced at his wrist watch, his expression shifted to irritation. "Tsk, this bitch wasted a lot of my time," he muttered, already forgetting the life he'd just extinguished.

"I need a chilled beer," he said to himself, strolling away from the scene with an air of nonchalance, as if he'd merely stopped to tie his shoes, not taken a life.

***********

It was eleven o'clock at night, and the darkness outside seemed to press against the windowpane like a physical presence. The rain-soaked sky stretched  above, a vast, starless expanse of inky blackness. The stars were scarce, mere pinpricks of light struggling to pierce the veil of clouds. The air was heavy with the scent of wet earth and ozone, the storm's lingering essence. The sky's motionlessness was almost painful, as if universe itself was holding it's breath in anticipation of something to come.

Except for the faint, silvery glow of the moon, the world outside seemed lifeless. Inside, the dark room was a Shadowy cocoon, it's silence only broken only by the soft creaks. A little boy sat upright on his bed, his slender frame leaning against the wall as he gazed out the window. The dark sky, a canvas deep blues and blacks, and the rooftop of nearby buildings, stark silhouette reaching towards the heavens like skeletal fingers.
