Meet Rikki Santiago.
(A/N: Not the actual Rikki from the show, I just love the name.)

Being sixteen was already hard enough and having to keep a secret from your mom, dad, and big sister was even harder.

In case you're wondering I'm a mermaid. I've been one since I was 9 when I found a really cool cave. No big deal, just when I touch water I pop a tail. It's a hard secret to keep but I've managed over the years. Not even my family knows, so the only person that knows is my best friend, Lewis. He's also forcing me to go to a festival concert with him at the prier. Hopefully my secret doesn't get out.
