{Chapter 19}

This is "Can't Keep My Hands Off You" by Simple Plan!

{Recap: Ross saw an embarrassing confession list on Rikki's wall and got interrupted when things were about to get interesting.}

Rikki's POV:

I walked downstairs, Ross following behind me to find Lewis standing by the door with a giant mat folded under his arm. "Lewis? What are you dong here?"

"Oh hey sup Riks. I'm fine. How are you?"

"Sorry hi Lewis. What are you doing here?"

"We have to practice stunts for this week's football game."

"Oh. Right."

"Did you forget? I could come back later if you're too busy with Ross." He winks.

Ew. No.

"No let's start moving the furniture."

With some heavy lifting Lewis and I rearranged the furniture and laid out the foam mat with no help from Ross. Thanks for standing there for moral support. Idiot.

I plop down on the comfy mat. "So what's first?"

"I have no idea." Lewis sheepishly grins.

"I can see this is going to be a great show," Ross snickers and makes himself comfortable on the couch.

I stick my tongue out at him and giggle when he imitates me, trying to look menacing when he actually looks like a cute puppy dog.

Lewis finishes patting the mat in place and stretches his hnd out for me to take.

My eyes narrowed at him. "Be careful."

"Relax it's like you don't even trust me." He grinned.

"I don't, that's the point."

"I promise if you fall, I'll catch you."

I rolled my eyes at Lewis but not before I heard Ross scoff from the side.

***Thirty minutes later***

Oof. Oof. Oof. Ow.

"Sorry!" He rushed to my side to make sure I didn't break any bones.

"Lewis! I thought you said you're caught me if I was gonna fall."

"I'm your bass not Spider-Man."

I roll my eyes. "Alright let's try again."

"Are you sure you don't want to take a break?" Lewis asked, throwing his body on the couch.

"I need to get this Lewis."

"But I'm starvingggg," he whines. "Where the hell is Ross with the food?"

Ross eventually got bored of watching me fall and continuously swear, so he offered to go out and get some food. I sighed, frustrated at myself and annoyed at the same time.

"He's only been gone for ten minutes now stop being a baby."

He reluctantly got to his feet and launched me up for the trillionth time again.

"Hey I'm doing! I'm do-" I didn't even get the satisfaction of being able to stand straight up before I came crashing down onto the mat again. And again. And again. And again.

You would think Lewis would have the decency to try and catch me by now but nope.

"Had enough?" Lewis laughs as he wipes the sweat off his forehead.
