I was sitting in the lawn drinking the fresh mango juice and I heard a voice which seemed to be calling my name, “ Steve! Steven!..What?! you're sitting here and I am busy doing your work. No, this is really unfair”
I said,“Wait I think you remembered it wrong Noah, Did I give you any work?” He was really amazed to know that I don't actually have any knowledge.
“Wow! So you don't know?,” He said. I replied,“ Just tell, What is there to know?”
He said,“Steven you're Father is arranging a event at the Alpha Banquet Hall and he said me to help you.”
I really had no idea about the Banquet and why was my Father helding an event. I thought to myself there will be many guests including our enemies. But if it's held by my Father so there is something important which everyone needs to know
I asked,“Noah do you have any idea what is it about?. He said,“No, but I happened to listen you're father talking to a servent that there's something important to announce.”
I was really wondering what thing is that my Father want to tell everyone. Anyways, I'll know it later.
I stood up and went to the Hall with Yusuf to see the arrangements. After all I have no work to do beside this.
After few hours guests started arriving. I and Noah head back to my mansion to change,Noah was wearing a white shirt with cream coat and cream bottom whereas I was wearing a black shirt with black coat and bottom. We're all ready but I let my hair down, all messy.
We started our car and ofcourse he was driving as he's my friend less and assistant more.
After reaching the Banquet I was meeting my friends and yes those who are my foes (an enemy)also.
My father got on the stage and announced that the company for which Most of the people have became our enemies was inherited to me.
Yes, every one was amazed but I was really frustrated because I don't have any intrest in the company matters. He knew that if he talked to me about this I will refuse it without further gossip.
Noah come towards me and said,“Hey, which bomb did uncle blast?? Means from now I am a waste for you Master Steve? Hiroshima Nagasaki has fallen directly on us!”
I replied in anger,“ Wow My dear Father! I was really wondering why this sudden Banquet, and this was the trick he used against me, announcing in public that I will be the future CEO. No!!! Steven Lawrence and CEO Never!! I am born to be the one whom they're afraid of and now this bullshittt!.”
I whispered into his ear,“Lets play with the act we'll see this matter later.”He whispered back,“Play what? I don't know how to act,” After listening his gossip I went away.
Everyone was congratulating me I was really finding it a burden
It's now 8:35 p.m. ,the dinner was over and the guests were leaving. I was really trying hard to control my anger as I don't want our nemesis to know about our family matters.
Later, I was called by my father to meet our long-termed partners while my father went to greet others.
And that's when a girl bumped into me who was a waiter serving drinks to guests, that's her the same girl from 7 years before. She said sorry to me and gave me some napkins as my shirt was stained with mango juice.
I don't know how but my gaze was stucked into her...
