"Yo Chris, are you ready?" Cally said.

"Yeah bro, this is it, the first day of school again." I replied, although I didn't really care about the first day of school. I mean, it's just a waste of time.

20 minutes later

"At last, we're here," Cally said, I could sense his excitement.

"You sure are excited about introducing yourself, huh?" I smiled, and he shouted, "YES, OF COURSE, BRO!!!" His voice echoed through the hallway.

"Shh, keep it down Cal, let's go find our room now," I dragged Cally away from the hallway.

Room 505

"Bro, this isn't what I expected..." Cally said, I could see his disappointment.

"Well, you gotta get used to it," I said, patting his back.

We looked for seats, and luckily, we found spots at the back, which is our favorite spot.

"Here comes the teacher!" Someone shouted.

A tall female teacher entered the room, and she looked strict. Not gonna lie, Cally and I were both scared.

Cally tapped me, "Bro, she looks like she's about to kick you out if you mess up," he said, the worry evident on his face.

"Good morning students, my name is Khyline Valentine Madrigal, but you can just call me Ms. Val," Ms. Val said. "Shall we start introducing ourselves?"

10 minutes later

"It's your turn now, bro. HAHAHA," Cally said, he had been teasing me about this for a while now. I already hate this.

"Hi guys, my name is Christian Jaspher Mendoza. I'm a basketball player and also a photographer. That's all, I guess." I was so nervous just introducing myself. This is annoying.

"Now it's your turn, bro," I teased Cally back. #revenge.

"Hello, my fellow classmates..." Cally said, I could see that he was nervous. "My name is Jaxon Cally Del Pilar. You can just call me Cally. I'm a basketball player. That's all."

Cally returned to his seat, his face red with embarrassment. HAHAHA.

10 minutes later

Cally tapped me, "Chris, check this out. Someone's late to Ms. Val's class," he said.

I sat up straight and looked to see who was late.

"Why are you late?" Ms. Val asked the girl in a soft tone.

"I'm very sorry, ma'am. I woke up late," the girl said.

"Understandable. Now, you may introduce yourself in front of the class, and since you're late, you have to show your talent." Ms. Val was quite tough, luckily we weren't late.

"Hi, my name is Ryannah Agatha Lopez. I'm a singer, and my talent is singing," she introduced herself.

Many people started whispering, "She's so pretty, bro," "Does she have a boyfriend?" "She's a singer, maybe she can sing to me. HAHAHA." That's what I heard from their whispers.

"Shh, Class! Be quiet," Ms. Val warned those who were noisy. "Now, you may start singing."

"Hey Jude, don't make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better." She started singing "Hey Jude" by The Beatles. Her voice was beautiful.

I looked her in the eye while she was singing...

"There's no hope, Chris is in love," Cally said, teased me more.

That's when I realized that Ryannah had finished singing, and I was still staring at her.

To be continued.
