Jade was completely silent for the rest of the day. She sat in the back of the bus staring out the window. Ellie looked at her and sighed.
"What happened between you and Seth?" Ellie asked.
Jade twitched and pulled her hood over her face. Her cheeks were a crimson red. She stayed silent as she hid her face.
"No way! He made a move didn't he! And you liked it!"
"No I did not! I was shocked! Why would he even want to!?"
"So he did do something! I knew it!"
Jade blushed even more, "S-shut up!"
"What did he do! Did he try to kiss you?"
Jade stayed silent and averted her gaze.
"No way! He didn't kiss you did he?"
"N-no... He didn't kiss me."
"You sound disappointed. You want him to kiss you didn't you!"
"Why would I want to kiss some snobby rich kid who toys with women's emotions for a living! Besides he has other girls he can mack on besides me..."
"You're totally in love."
"I am not! Shut up!"
"Hehe whatever you say!"
"I hate you..."
"You love me!"
Jade and Ellie were out in town shopping. They had to pick up some milk for dinner tonight. After they got the milk they got a little extra cash to go to the mall for a bit. They entered the doors to the mall when they spotted all five of them. The host club. They stood frozen in terror. Why were they at the mall? They both thought in unison.
"Jade! Ellie! What a coincidence! Why don't we hang out for a bit?" Seth said putting his arm around jades shoulder.
Jade blushed and shuddered at his touch. She was completely frozen. Ellie chuckled at her and Jade glared at her.
Ellie looked at Michael and said, "Sure why not?" She skipped towards Michael and started talking to him.
She was awfully cheerful around him Jade thought confused. She pushed Seth's arm off her shoulder finally and trudged away.
"You can hang out with them, if you need me I'll be at Hot Topic." Jade walked away then stooped.
She turned around and stared at the laughing group. She felt so lonely. Jade started hyperventilating. Jade was afraid of being alone. Ellie noticed Jade and walked towards her.
"Come one, I know how you get when your alone." Ellie said holding onto her arm.
Jade calmed down a little, "Thanks Ellie."
"By the way, how come you weren't freaking out when you ran out of the room the other day?"
"I guess it's because I was around nature, and I'm wiccan so I guess the trees kept me company." Jade smiled.
"You so weird but I love you. Now come on they're waiting."
Jade and Ellie ran after the five boys happily playing around. The twins were playing keep away with Seth's wallet, Jake was silent texting someone, and Michael was leaning up against a wall with a blank look on his face. Ellie ran right up to Michael and tried prying a conversation out of him. Seth finally got his wallet back and went straight up to Jade.
"How about I buy you something nice, my treat!" Seth said putting his arm around Jade's waist.
Jade tensed up and blushed. She was very ticklish, especially around her sides. Plus she wasn't use to this kind of stuff. She was as still as a statue. She finally moved and pushed Seth away.
"No no! I'm fine I don't need anything! But thanks anyways!" She said flustered.
"OK..?" Seth said confused.
Seth and the twins were trying to get Jade to put on a frilly dress. Her response were insults and words that even Ellie's never heard before. Ellie was looking through the shirts but nothing was to her taste. Michael walked up and held a shirt in front of her and smiled.
"This one looks like something you'd like." He said holding the shirt up to her.
It was a long black tank top. Half of it was plain black and the other half had from the neck to the pelvis of a skeleton. Ellie blushed as he handed her the shirt.
"Go try it on, and if you like it I'll buy it for you." Michael smiled again.
Ellie put the shirt on, it was a perfect fit. She looked at herself in the mirror. She loved the shirt. She walked outside and showed off the shirt.
Michael gave her a thumbs up, "it looks perfect on you."
Ellie blushed, "Thank you."
Michael stood up and pulled out his wallet.
"Are you really sure you wanna pay for it? I can afford it." Ellie said.
"Let me pay for it, I want to give to you as a present."
"But why?"
"Because, I always buy presents for people I like." He smiled.
Ellie blushed and went back into the changing room. She took off the shirt and put on her old one. She walked out and handed the shirt to Michael. After he paid for it Ellie found Jade being cornered by the twins. They were still trying to get Jade into a dress. Ellie laughed and helped Jade by yelling at the twins to go away.
"Thank you, you saved my life." Jade sighed in relief.
"No problem, that's what sisters are for!"
"Your oddly cheerful... What happened?" Jade asked.
"What? I'm not allowed to be happy every once in a while?"
"No its weird, your always so... Crabby." Jade laughed a little, "I'm kidding, come on I wanna go to hot topic!"
Jade and Ellie walked out of the store and suddenly stopped.
"Whats the matter?" Seth asked starring at them.
He followed their gazes and there he found someone familiar. It was Bella.
