It was my turn to pick a date idea, most of our dates have been me coming over to Chloe's place and just watching Netflix and chill, but I decided I was ready to appear in public with Chloe.
I was playing Billie Eilish while I set up our picnic on the grass, I put all the pain materials to one side and the cocktails and fruits on the other, and now I was waiting, I had told her 4:30, I think coming at three was a bit early, i'd be waiting for a long lo
"hey, you early" I looked up to Chloe
"you are too" I got up at hugged her
"this is demure, what are we doing "
"sunset painting picnic date"
"oh, i've always wanted to do one of these" she looked generally amused and happy to see this
"I order us some pizza it's on the way" I said sittign back down with Chloe
"okay" And just like like our date started, once the pizza got there, we started looking though Pinterest looking for ideas on what to pain we both settled on an almost night time in the forest.

We started painting, and drank a few cocktails and ate a bunch of pizza and fruits.
Once we finished it was around 6, I didn't realize it was going to get cold. We set the things in the car and started walking around the playground, taking pictures of us climbing and sliding down the slides like little kids, just as we were about to take a selfie Chloe wrapped her button up around me, since I was wearing a shoulder less dress. I didn't realize I was shivering.
"thank you" I said softly, but she just smiled softly and dropped her eyes down to my lips. I suddenly got nervous. It's not that I didn't want to kiss, it's just I didn't want to make a fool of myself, she's probably kissed more girls than I can think of, and in my entire life i've only kissed 2, 1 was in a game of spin the bottle and the other was for a photoshoot. Chloe's eyes lingered there for a moment longer before looking away. I think she may have seen the nervousness in my eyes, she turned back to the phone ready to take the picture, and I just grabbed her face and kissed her, on the lips. Hard. She kissed me back and we kissed for what felt like an eternity, it was like the whole world just stopped moving and disappeared, I was a relief to finally kiss her, to taste her. I broke away when she accidently pulled of my hair.
"sorry" she said, looking as if she regretted her decision of pulling me
"it's okay" I said and kissed her again, this time more soft and tender.
"Errrhemmm excuse you girls," our kiss broke "this is a public place, you can't be kissing here in front of children!Get a room! urg girls" the woman mumbled to herself as she left, while me and Chloe started laughing. We took our selfie and left. She stayed at my place for a few hours while we watched a movie and made hot chocolate. Just before she left she gave me a small peck on my cheek and left.
I went to bed that night but I couldn't sleep, I kept thinking about today, mostly the kiss, when I got up to get a glass of water I realized I just gave Chloe a pair of my pyjamas and her clothes were on the floor as well as her bra. Images of us started flooding my mind.
Ping! I got a text on my phone, when I opened it, I saw it was from Chloe

it had become a habit to say good night and good morning to each other before the other went to bed and to check up on each other during the day. She started calling my sunshine, saying it's because I brought brightness into her life, I settled on Cherry becuase of her fun, lively bold side.
That night I barely slept, images of me and Chloe's first kiss kept showing up, and honestly speaking, I didn't mind.
