The early morning sun filtered through the sheer curtains of Anvi’s room, casting soft golden hues across her face. She sat at her desk, sipping a strong cup of black coffee as she scanned her schedule for the day. The café visit lingered in her mind, replaying in vivid detail—Advik’s teasing, his sudden flashes of sincerity, and the way he looked at her when he thought she wasn’t watching.

“Ugh, focus, Anvi,” she muttered, setting her cup down with a clatter. She was annoyed, not just at Advik’s audacity but at her own reaction to it. She wasn’t supposed to feel this pull, this confusion. She had built walls around herself for a reason, and now, somehow, he was finding cracks in them.

Meanwhile, across town, Advik was already on campus, setting up for his first lecture of the day. The usually bustling biology department was quieter in the mornings, giving him a few moments of solitude. His thoughts, however, weren’t on his teaching plans. They were on Anvi—the sharpness in her eyes, the challenge in her voice, and the brief glimpse of vulnerability he had caught when she let her guard down for that one fleeting moment.

Vineet walked in, a carefree smile on his face as usual. “Good morning, Professor Saab,” he greeted with a mock salute.

Advik smirked. “ye kis khushi mein? Volleyball ka practice nahi hai kya?”

Vineet shrugged, plopping into a chair at the front row. “Chhod na practice to hoti rhegi..Main to bas tere expression dekhne aya tha..Kya scene tha kal café mein, waah maza aa gaya!”

Advik rolled his eyes. “Woh toh bas Anvi ka usual drama tha. Usse dekh kar lagta hai jaise har cheez personal le leti hai.”

Vineet chuckled, his voice low and teasing. “Bas, woh drama hi toh hai jo tujhe pasand hai..,hai na? Vaise uski aankhon mein jo spark hai, wahi toh sabse alag hai.”

Advik paused, considering his friend's words. There was something in Anvi's intensity, a fire that burned hot and unpredictable. He wouldn't admit it, but that spark fascinated him.

Back at her clinic, Anvi was wrapping up her notes on her latest case. She glanced at her phone when it buzzed with a message from Sana.

Lunch at our usual spot? We need to talk!”

Anvi typed back, “Sure, 1 PM.”

At lunch, Sana was already waiting with a warm smile when Anvi walked in. “Yahan aaja, Dr. Moody!” Sana teased.

Anvi smirked and sat down. “Aaj kya drama discuss karna hai?”

Sana's eyes sparkled. “Wohi drama jisme tum heroine ho, aur jisme ek certain biology professor hero hai.”

Anvi groaned. “Phir se Advik? Please, Sana, mujhe already uski shakal dekh kar migraine hone lagta hai.”

Achha? Toh phir kal jab usne tumhare liye order kiya tha, woh kya tha?” Sana’s tone was playful but searching.

Anvi sighed, stirring her lemonade absently. “I-i don’t know. He’s... complicated. Aur pata nahi kyun, har baat se mujhe irritate kar deta hai.”

Sana leaned forward, her expression softening. “Kabhi socha hai ki yeh irritation kahin kisi aur emotion ka disguise toh nahi?”

"oh hello! mujhe ye sab faltu baate sochne ka time nhi hai or me vaise bhi usse pareshan hu me nhi sochti uske baare mee kuch.." anvi rolled her eyes.

Accha baba, theek hai gussa kyu hoti hai accha ab chl mujhe kuch kaam bhi hai or hum ek sath ghar tak jayenge to thoda time spend kar lenge.. Sana said.
