Time travelling adventure

Chapter 1

It was just a normal day for the marauders as they had just successfully pranked Snivelly again and were heading back to the common room after a very long day. They were getting more and more school load as the days passed and the teachers were showing absolutely no mercy with much more homework and quite complicated lessons but that did not stop the marauders from pranking and as James and Sirius always say what's life without a little fun.

Entering the common room, they saw a beautiful redhead who was engrossed in reading her transfiguration book and paid no attention to the chaos in the room. James started to walk towards where she was sitting with a mischievous smile and the other three marauders shared a knowing look.

'Hey Evans what are you doing' said James

'It's called reading Potter but how will you know, you never read' replied lily without looking up from her book

'Ohhhh I see well since I don't read how about you go out with me and give me some lessons' said James hopefully

'How many times do I have to tell you Potter I am NOT going out with you' said lily this time looking up at him

'Hey Evans don't be so hard on my mate' said Sirius coming to the rescue while James had a disappointed look on his face as he looked sadly at lily. He didn't understand why she hated him so much sure he played pranks and troubled Severus lily's ex-best friend more than he have to but that git absolutely deserved it for what he called his lily a few months ago.

Lily however ignored the two of them and greeted Remus. She found him the most bearable and smart among the rest of the marauders plus he was her study partner. She also didn't talk with Peter Pettigrew much he was a very shy guy and call it a gut feeling or something but she didn't get very much good vibes from him but then she thought he's short, shy and a very anxious guy who always stands behind James and Sirius whenever something goes wrong, there's nothing harmful he can do, can he?

After greeting and saying a goodnight to Remus she started to walk towards the girl's dormitory while James said (shouted) goodnight to her while looking at her retreating figure.

'Why doesn't she like me' asked a very disappointed James loudly.

'Mate you really should stop asking her out I mean its fun and all remembering the number of times she rejected you but it is really not funny anymore' said Sirius receiving a punch from Remus on his shoulder

'What Sirius means to say is that you should move on from lily and try to be just friends with her maybe then she will understand the real you and for a change you should go out with other girls too, we are in our sixth-year prongs you are the only person in our group who hasn't dated since you have been pining after lily so long' said Remus staring draggers at Sirius who just shrugged.

'You are right moony I should really move on' said James giving a long sign.
