Jax POV
I look at the new kid, confused. Why does she sound like me? She's covering her mouth, probably also very surprised at what she did.
"I'm gonna ask Caine about this, you stay here." I tell the girl quickly as I run out of the room.
~Small time skip brought to you by centipedes~
As I'm looking for Caine, I think back to what happened. How did she do that? Maybe it's whoever she touches or looks at, that's whose voice she can mimic? I don't know exactly how it works, but I need to know WHY her voice does that.
I'm still calling for Caine when suddenly I see glitching next to me. I look over and see the new kid next to me. How'd she do that?
"First off, how are you here? Second, I thought I said to stay put." I'm practically scolding her like a child but, with how much she knows, she might as well be.
"First off, I was holding my breath, hoping that oxygen deprivation would either kill me or wake me up. Second, you don't get to tell me what to do"
She looks at me angrily as she answers and ong she's adorable. But wait, did she just say she was trying to ki11 herself? We can't have that.
"Come on toots" I say as I put her up on my shoulders. "HEY" She shouts, and tries to wriggle off, but I keep her on my shoulders so she doesn't fall. "Chill girly, I'm gonna take you with me to look for caine." I try to calm her down. It works and she stops moving around. She's still talking in my voice so it's a bit odd to talk to her.
"Hey, you should try going back to that vocaloid voice." I say as I'm walking. She looks at me incredulously and glares. "Why?" She asks defiantly.
I smile smugly, because, even if she meant to or not, she's gone back to the vocaloid voice.
