"and it's still that lil ddot nigga," ddot said from somewhere in the room.
"so, right now i'm getting ready for school" she sighed taking her earrings out, "i haven't been in school for a while cause some dirty skank made me scratch my face and i wasn't finna let people see me like that"
"but over the course of the few days i been way out of character," she explained putting chapstick on instead of lip gloss.
"of course by the time y'all see this it's gonna already happen, just know, i'm standing on big business over what i said" she laughed throwing her hood up and turning the camera off.
she stood up from her vanity and put her camera in her draw along with anything else she wasn't taking with her.
she patted herself for her phone and her keys before nodding her head to ddot, "okay, cmon"
as zeniya and ddot left her room, the energy in the air shifted. zeniya was silent, focused, with her hood low over her eyes.
ddot could feel the vibe—she was on a mission, and he was just there to back her up, no questions asked.
there was no pulling her out of it, once she was mad enough, she was mad forever.
they walked out to the street where the morning was still quiet, the sun barely stretching its rays over the buildings.
it felt like a different kind of peace, one that zeniya knew wouldn't last once she got to school.
"yo, you ready?" ddot asked, glancing over at her.
she gave him a small nod, biting her lip. "stay, ready."
"aight, but if you need me just say it" he chuckled shaking his head as he unlocked his car.
