That's what anyone outside the castle knew her as, Queen Ryu. The only reason why she accepted it was because ryu sort of sounded like Rui, he didn't come up with the name but she still talks about how similar their names were. Her family has a history of being secretive, although the people of the kingdom did know the name of her parents and what they looked like, nobody except for certain people in the kingdom knew what she looked like. Ichika Hoshino, The Ryu Kingdom's Queen, also known as Queen Ryu Kamisahina. Some people that don't know who she actually is seem to believe that she was actually named after the kingdom, others think that has to be a lie from her parents having the name Hoshino, and some just decided to call her Queen Ryu Hoshino. Names didn't really matter to Ichika, but she did plan on keeping her true identity hidden. The castle was split into 3 sections, the bottom floor, middle, and top floor. In the bottom, was a place where less trusted workers belong, they also didn't know anything about Ichika Hoshino, only Ryu Kamisahina, the middle floor did know a little about Ichika Hoshino, but they weren't so familiar with her looks, and the top floor was where her room was, so by default only the most trusted workers were allowed up there. The most trusted one of all was no other than Rui.
Rui Kamishiro, the assistant of Ichika Hoshino. He was one of the highest ranked workers before Ichika's parents had passed, he was talented, he was an alchemist, mathematician, magician, and he was good with psychology. Rui never had much of a background except for being found by guards when he was younger, his talents and speed while working made him favored by Ichika's patents. He was the youngest person to ever see Ichika's real face in person, and he kept her company in her hidden life, making small robots for her, teaching her new things like how to read and write, and making stories to read to her. When Ichika's parents had passed, that's where his talent in psychology kicked in, he managed to comfort her better than anyone else could. Unlike Ichika, Rui wasn't a secret, he would always be around the kingdom to represent her whenever someone needed Ichika. He also had helped Ichika make many decisions before, him and also the second most trusted worker, Mafuyu Asahina. Mafuyu had worked in the castle since she was a small child, years of experience, and little to no mistakes or bad impressions. She wasn't known throughout the kingdom like Rui, but she was known throughout the castle. Rui's main job was helping Ichika, and Mafuyu's was helping anyone in the castle, sometimes she would cover for Rui whenever he was out in the Kingdom.
The name "Kamisahina" was a mix of Kamishiro and Asahina. Another high ranked worker by the name Hatsune Miku came up with it, since she knew how much Rui and Mafuyu meant to Ichika. After Miku told Ichika about it, Ichika allowed her to tell others that was her name, it wasn't supposed to be an actual set in stone name but just a rumor for those who were too curious about who Queen Ryu was.
