Chapter 4: Starting school

(In Max bedroom)

Max was laying in his bed while watching Dave The mouse. Max would laugh at most of the scenes when he would watch the show. Suddenly, Frisky enters his room.

Frisky: Hi sweetie. What are you up to?

Max: Just watching Dave The Mouse. What's up? He asks while pausing the tv.

Frisky: Just checking in. Also, I wanted to tell you that you will be starting school in first grade tomorrow.

Max: Really?

Frisky: Yep. we were googling schools in brisbane and was able to find a school that would not take long to get too.

Max: Where is it located?

Frisky: Vest Street.

Max: Is that near the gas station?

Frisky: It is actually.

Max: Wow, that is not far at all.

Frisky: Are you excited for school?

Max: I don't know, what if the kids don't like me? What if they treat me like the kids at the orphanage treated me? He says in a low tone with his ears done with his head down.

Frisky walks over to Max and puts her paw on his shoulder, causing him to look up at her.

Frisky: Honey, you gotta think positive. I think that a couple of the kids are nice. They might even become your friend and think how much of a sweet kid you are. Tomorrow you're gonna enter the school, take a deep breath, and just try your best. Can you do that for me?

Max was thought about for a second before nodding his head.

Max: Okay.

Frisky: That's what I love to hear! Now try to go to bed so you can get some of that energy for school because your gonna need it to learn some very important stuff at school.

Frisky: And I should probably get some sleep too. Goodnight Max! Get ready for school tomorrow!

Frisky then leaves max bedroom so she can go to sleep and take Max tomorrow in the morning.

Max turned off his tv and set the remote on his bed stand before closing his eyes and falling asleep.

(The next day)

Max is still in his beauty sleep. But his beauty sleep ends when Frisky enters his bedroom and wakes him up.

Frisky: Max wakes up, it's time for school.

Max slowly opens his eyes and sits up in his bed while yawning and rubbing his eyes.

Max: *Tiredly* Did you say it's time for school?

Frisky: Yes. Go brush your teeth, Brush your hair and then come to the kitchen so you can have breakfast before we leave. She says before leaving Max's room.

Max Stretches before getting out of his bed and leaving his room. Max then goes to the bathroom and brushes his teeth before he brushes his hair. Afterwards, he leaves the bathroom and goes to the kitchen. He then sees Frisky had just gotten done cooking pancakes. She sets a plate of them on the table.

Frisky: There are some pancakes Sweetie. Now eat, quick! I'll be waiting in the car for you. Frisky leaves the house and enters the car and waits for Max to eat his breakfast. About 2 minutes later, Max enters the car while buckling himself.

Max: I'm ready to go!

Frisky: Alright then let's go!

Frisky starts the car and drives out of the parking spot before driving to the school.
