Yellow is my crushes nickname

I run through the pouring rain trying to get home. I stop to catch my breath and settle on fast walking. I can't even see where I'm going at this point though. I watch as a white blur-which I assume is a car- slowly drives next to me. "Hey!" I hear a voice call out from it.

I look over but can't see who it is or identify the voice. "It's me! Yellow!" Shocked, I stop running and skid to a halt. I realize that I'm getting drenched and shiver before fast walking. "Oh. Hi Yellow!" I yell back with a bright smile, trying to be heard. "Do you need a ride home?" He yells.

My heart skips a beat. Being in the same car as him? I shiver again. This time though, it's from the rain. "Yeah!" I say. "Are you offering?" "Sure! Hope in!" He yells. I stop walking as I hear him faintly ask his mom to stop the car to let me in.

I see the door open and run over there to get in. I shut it quickly. "Hey." He says looking over at me. His voice sounds so much deeper and calming now that I'm in the car with him. I realize he's moved from the front to the back to sit with me.

I blush. "Sorry, you must be freezing." He says. "Mom! Turn up the heat!" She turns it up. "So, why were you walking all alone out there in the pouring rain?" Yellow asks. "I was walking back from a friend's house and it started raining really hard and my phone died."

"Oh. Do you need to contact your parents?" "Yeah. Can I use your phone?" "Sure." He hands me his phone and I type in my mom's phone number. I text her that it's me and that I'm okay.

And then, she calls me. "Hello?" I ask accepting her call. "You need to walk home right now young lady!" "But mom!" I say scared. She interrupts me and yells, "I don't care if it's raining, you get home right now!"

"There's a huge storm outside though!" "I. Don't. Care." "Yes mom. I'll walk home right now." I say with a dead tone and look over at Yellow who seems to have heard the whole conversation.

He yanks his phone back from me and talks to my mom. "You can't make her walk home in this hurricane! She's staying with us!" I blush as he hangs up the phone and puts a reassuring hand on my shoulder.

"We're here!" His mom says a few minutes later. It's still raining so we have to run inside. His two younger brothers are wrestling on the floor. And the other one is asleep on the couch. "Let's go upstairs to my room." He says.

"O-ok." I say walking up the stairs after him. He opens the door to his room and invites me in. He sits on his bed and pats the spot next to him. "I can't, I'm wet from the rain." I say embarrassed.

"Oh yeah." He says. "You can change into this." He smiles and picks out an outfit for me. As he gives me the pile of clothes, our eyes meet and my heart skips a beat. I look into his chocolate colored puppy dog eyes and my heart melts.

I have a part two for this because it was a really long dream.
