In loving yourself,
Don’t belittle someone else.
In proving your worth,
Don’t hurt others to excel.
For one day, you’ll find—
You cannot forgive yourself.
Don’t lose yourself
In the noise of others’ opinions.
Don’t prove someone right
By making yourself wrong.
Or one day, you’ll feel lost,
Unfit in this world you belong.
Today, no one stands by your side—
Does it truly matter?
No one loves you as you are—
Is that enough to shatter?
Shape yourself in such a way
That this world is compelled to love you.
Arrange your life so well,
That you never need to depend on anyone.
Love yourself so deeply
That on a sweet morning,
With a warm cup of coffee,
You can whisper,
“Life is breathtakingly beautiful.”
Remember this:
Loving others won’t make you whole.
It’s in loving yourself,
That you’ll find your soul.
