LILLIAN GRACE
"He doesn't like you! I know that!" He shouted coming closer to me.
"Huh? How do you know that exactly? Have you seen us fighting? Did he say that you? Say! How do you know that?" I shout at him.
The pain I had within me few minutes ago were gone and only pure anger was filled now. I hate the way he's talking to me. He doesn't know Aiden doesn't love me. How sure he can say that!
"I know Miss Grace. Nobody has to say it or show it. Eyes talk!" What a bloody reason he has given.
"Listen Mr Delan! Just because we haven't seen in 3 days or talked to eachother, our love doesn't fade away. You don't know that because you always stay outside the house! You are only a bodyguard! You get that? So get the hell out now!" I point towards the door so that he shut the fuck up and leave.
"Grace, it's not safe" he said in a low voice.
"I don't care. I don't need your help. I have a father who can take care of everything. Oh better i have a guy who does anything to keep me safe! Now please! Get out of this Church. I insist " I turn around and stand. My head is aching because of all these.
After a minutes, I see the door closed. I turn around to see him gone.
What was wrong with him? What does he even mean I'm not safe? I am safe wherever I'm with Aiden. He's my home. I'm not going anywhere without him. It's now time for me to walk down the aisle.
After half an hour, now I'm walking down aisle, with my father. I keep my head down. I sense everyone stand up as I made the entry.
A thousand years by Cristina perri started playing on background, giving the perfect wedding vibes.
I look up and see the most beautiful arrangements ever. It was like baby pink colour theme. My bridesmaids were wearing baby pink dresses, so does his groomsman.
My eyes catch his eyes which were on me, staring into my deep soul.
His outfit was a classic black tuxedo with a modern cut, tailored to perfection. The jacket includes satin lapels that give it a touch of refinement and it's paired with a crisp white shirt and a black bow tie, balancing the tradition with elegance. The pants are well-fitted, complementing the sleek look of the tuxedo jacket. His hairs are so perfectly kept. He looked so handsome than ever.
Dad handed my hand to his. He curtly noded and pulled me on the stage.
The priest started the wedding. My breath got heavier and heavier looking at him.
I remember her words, won't be kiss me?
The priest asked us to exchange our vows.
I held his hands in mine, firmly. Tears form in my eyes. I keep a straight eye contact with him. He looks at me witha blank expression.
"From the moment I met you, my life has been touched by a warmth I never knew was possible. I promise to honour the incredible person you are, to support your dreams and to nurture the love we've built with the utmost care. I vow to hold your hand through joy and sorrow, through laughter and tears , never letting go. I promise to be not only your partner but also your friend, your confidant and your biggest admirer" I took a deep breath.
"I love you beyond words and more than anything else in this world. And with all my heart, i promise you a lifetime of love, loyalty and boundless love devotion. I love you aide" a lonely tear escaped.
"Thank you Miss Grace. Mr Kingston it's your turn" the priest said.
He looked hesitated for a second. He took a deep breath.
"Today, I stand here with a deep sense of commitment and a promise to honour you with the respect and care you deserve. I pledge to be a steady and supportive partner in this journey we're choosing to walk together "
"I promise to protect, to provide and to be there through life's ups and down, guided by duty and by the commitment I've made to you. My loyalty, my respect and my support will be unwavering. I will be the partner you can depend on, someone you can rely on with complete trust. This is my solemn promise to you" he looked down and raised his head.
"I love you too Lia" he released the breath he kept for such a long time.
I never thought he would say those words. Even if it's fake, I don't mind. He said it to me. That's all I care.
"It's my honour and joy to pronounce you married. You may now share your first kiss as husband and wife" the priest announced and my heart skipped a beat.
It won't kiss me, will he?
Aiden came closer to me, dangerous closer. He kept his hand behind my neck and dashed his lips to mine. The kiss was soft and gentle. It felt warm and reassuring, delicate yet meaningful, as we both savouring the simple closeness being together.
The world around us seem to paused.
Though it was only a few seconds, it felt amazing. I thought he wouldn't kiss me as Claire said. I guess she was wrong. I making him mine. This was the first step. I can't wait to see her paled face."Congratulations wife" Aiden said as he released the kiss, in his very damn sexy voice.
Every stood up and was cheering for us. He interwined our hands. We both talked towards the gate, where are car was ready to take us for the wedding reception.
My wedding is already over. Oh my I'm gonna live with him. That would be so great. Do I get to share a bed? I guess he'll let me sleep in some guest room. I'll make sure he'll fall for me.
Aiden Kingston, it's my mission to make me fall for you!
