"It's almost the middle of the night." Namjoon said in an annoyed tone. "Where the fuck-"
"Sorry we're late, hyung." Jungkook interrupted as he and his twin brother, Oliver, burst through the front door of their mansion. "Oliver had to pick up something on our way back."
"That's fine, just don't let it happen again." Namjoon replied coldly.
The Jeon brothers had always found comfort in Namjoon, who adopted them as teenagers. Even though Namjoon was far older than the Jeon boys, he still felt a strong need to play the older brother and found great comfort in doing so. The youngest of the Jeon brothers, Sebastian, didn't share the same connection with Namjoon and longed only for their parent's affection.
"Should we get started?" Oliver asked, his eyes locked with those of a beautiful young woman.
"I thought you'd never ask." Namjoon replied as his gaze shifted over to her as well. The woman was far from unwilling. She was a friend of the Jeon twins and often allowed the three men to drink from her in exchange for favors, sometimes sexual, sometimes emotional comfort, but always a home cooked meal.
Namjoon, as the eldest of the three, was the first to feed from her. Once he had his fill, Jungkook began, followed by Oliver. They never took too much from her, only enough to keep themselves satisfied until the next night they were able to hunt.
"So Alice, did you decide on steak or chicken?" Oliver asked, licking his top lip clean of a drop of blood.
"Honestly, I've been craving steak for the past week, Ollie." Alice said in a soft tone. "But you have to make it."
"Gladly." Oliver smiled as he walked into the kitchen. He was always the cook out of all three Jeon boys. Jungkook never really took much interest in it and Sebastian was never allowed near the stove alone because of his age. Sebastian was only four years old and, though he did help Oliver from time to time, he was too young to cook on his own. The oldest of the Jeon brothers, Junghyun, taught Oliver everything he knew about cooking the perfect steak before his passing. Jungkook and Oliver felt deep sorrow for Junghyun and blamed themselves for his death, even though they were not to blame. What made them feel worse, however, was knowing that Sebastian would never know Junghyun, as he died before the youngest brother was born.
