"Betrayal is never easy to handle, but it's one of the most powerful ways to break someone's spirit. It doesn't just shatter trust; it leaves a wound that time can never fully heal."_________________________________________________
Jungkook's heart was racing as he stood alone in the dark room. He could still feel the cold presence of the strange man who had spoken to him.
But he wasn't going to give up. Somewhere, deep down, he believed his parents were still out there, and he had to find them.
After a moment, he took a deep breath and slowly started walking toward the door, careful not to make any noise.
He didn't know what might be waiting on the other side, but he had to keep moving if he wanted to escape. The dim, green light cast eerie shadows on the walls, but he ignored them, focusing only on each step he took.
He stepped out into a narrow hallway and began walking, his ears straining to catch any sound. He was careful, moving slowly so that he wouldn't alert anyone else nearby. The hallway seemed to stretch on forever, but then, after only a few steps, he suddenly froze.
A faint sound broke the silence. It was a soft murmur, barely noticeable, but it made his skin prickle. Jungkook looked around, trying to find where the noise was coming from. His eyes landed on a half-closed door just a few feet ahead of him. The sound was coming from behind it.
Holding his breath, he took a few slow steps closer to the door, trying to hear better. The voice was low, like a whisper. Jungkook felt a mix of fear and hope. Could this person help him? Or were they dangerous?
He reached the door, peeking through the space. His heart pounded as he waited, listening, hoping to hear something that might give him a clue about his parents.
He knew he had to be brave. No matter what, he couldn't turn back now. He need to find his parents no matter what!!
With each word that reached him, Jungkook felt like the ground was slipping out from under his feet. He stepped closer to the door, his mind racing.
He knew that voice. He would recognize it anywhere. But how could it be? A million thoughts rushed through his head as he peeked through the space from the door, holding his breath.
Then he saw the face of the person speaking. His world seemed to stop. It felt as if his heart shattered into a million pieces-pieces that could never be put back together. The person he saw was someone he trusted more than anyone else. It was Aera...
{a/n: Aera is the girl you read in Past-1.. The girl whom jungkook loved...}
He stayed there, frozen, staring in disbelief. His heart refused to accept what his eyes were seeing.
No....it couldn't be her...
He felt like he must have misheard, like maybe he was seeing things. But as he watched her face, he knew there was no mistake. It was Aera, and there was no denying now...
