Arthur, a young man who lives with his grandparents in the town of Cle Elum, Washington, USA since his parents abandoned him. He spent his entire childhood asking questions about his family and his biological parents. Despite the fact that he considered his grandfather and grandmother as his real parents, they always said that his biological parents did not want him, because he was a mistake made by themselves. He withdraws because of these thoughts which have had an influence on his outlook on life, and have been, over time, the cause of his social anxiety and his discomfort with the idea of socializing with other people.
His first two years of high school were a living hell for him. Seeing so many people gathered in one place stunned him. He felt weird seeing all the students around him talking and laughing without any difficulty, he wanted to be "one of them".
Unfortunately, his social anxiety and shyness attracted the attention of a gang of bullies, who made him endure two years of pure pain by making fun of him, but also by belittling and discriminating against him.
