A Cinderella Story

Chapter 3

I arrived at our front door.

Ella you can do this just inhale, exhale, take deep breathes, deep breathes.

I turned the door knob and I saw a lady facing dad and two other teenagers at my age beside the lady.

It's them.

Oh no.

I closed the door slowly so one could hear I'm home. I quickly but quietly went upstairs without dad noticing my presence. Good.

Then I realized what the lady looks like. She has a brown straight hair, I didn't see her face. And the two other teenagers are like twins by I think they're not and I saw them but they didn't saw me. Maybe. The other has a brown curly hair so is the other one.

Knock. Knock.

What the.. how did dad knew I'm home?

Ohh. That's right I left my bag in the chair.

I smacked my head. STUPID!

I quickly lay in my bed for me to pretend that I'm asleep, I closed my eyes.

Then I heard the door opened and I can feel a figure sat beside my bed and kissed my cheek.

W-what? Kissed my cheek?

What the....

I opened my eyes and saw him.

My boyfriend. I stood up and hugged him.

"Wait, I thought you were asleep" he said

"I just pretended" I said and giggled then he started tickling me.

"J-jake......haha.. s-sto-op ...haha" I said in between laughs.

"This is your punishment! Haha." He said copying the voice of a villain.

Then he finally stopped.

"This is so unfair, I have a punishment if I do something bad even if it's just a little mistake, but you, you make big mistakes but you don't even get a punishment!" I pouted.

"Because I'm the punisher! Haha." He copying a voice of a villain again.

Wow punisher! Haha!

"Why were you pretending anyway?" He asked.

"Nothing" I said and frown

"What's wrong?" He asked worried.

"I'm sorry Jake but I don't want to talk about it. But I promise I will tell it to you when the right time comes." I said

He nodded and kissed my forehead.

I climbed to my bed and so did he.

I'm very lucky to have someone like you Jake. I have a very understanding boyfriend.

I smiled and closed my eyes.

"Ella, it's me your mom, Please learn to understand your dad's decisions because it's for your own good, every parent wants best forth their child. Don't think that your dad didn't love me because he did, more than his whole life. Don't forget that honey, I love you, always."

I woke up it was my mom again.

I did'nt see her I just heard her voice and all I see was pitch black.

Now I made my decision I'll tell it to dad. Now.

I turned around and saw Jake's cute face. He looks cute when he asleep.

I kissed his nose and stood up quietly so I will not wake him up. I head downstairs and saw dad in the kitchen talking to someone.

"Peter, I know it's hard for Ella to accept me as her stepmother ofcourse I know what Ella feels. I felt it when I was little too. But as time passes I finally learn to love and accept my stepmother. Just give her some more time. Don't force her." I heard her say.

I still don't know her name though.

"I know Mary, I know." Dad said

So. That's her name. MARY.

"Ella, how long have you've been there?" Dad asked

Oops he saw me. What am I going to do? What am I going to do?

I come inside the kitchen and saw Mary. She is pretty also.

"Long enough to hear your whole conversation" I said and smiled shyly

"Well hello there Ella." Mary said

"Hi Mary" I said

"Well I think you've heard everything?" Dad said and laugh

I nodded

"Ella I want you to meet, my daughters, Mandy and Cindy. Can you girls come down here?"

Then I see two girls walking down the stairs. Smiling and both of them are stunning also.

"Ella, these are my daughters, she is Cindy." She pointed to a girl who has brown curly hair and green eyes.

"Hi" Cindy smiled

I just smiled too.

"And she is Mandy." She pointed to a girl in brown curly hair and grey eyes.

"Hi" I said

She frowned

"Girls, this is my daughter, Ella." Dad said.

"Um whose that?" Mandy asked smiling

I turned around and saw my boyfriend, shirtless and I saw Mandy checking him out.

What the hell! In front of me?!

"My boyfriend" I said proudly

And I saw Mandy's eyes widen. And I smirk at her reaction.

"Babe, I better go home now" he said and kissed my cheeks holding his shirt. "Bye, Mr. Kendrick and Ms." He said too quickly avoiding eye contact with Mandy.

Haha Take that!!

Good thing my boyfriend isn't a playboy. I smiled at that thought
