Chapter one

Y/n was a 7 year old girl who was in an orphanage. Her parents died when she was 4 so now she has to get adopted. Then, two couples walked in the building. Everyone was looking at them shocked. They walked towards Y/n and picked her up. Then, they were stopped by the shop's owner.

"Wait, you can't take her. She isn't going to help you with anything. She's lazy. Instead, you can choose someone else." The lady said. Seonghwa looked at her blankly and walked away. The lady was rude. She always hated Y/n because she would always get the attention from rich buyers.

The lady suddenly grabbed Y/n and pullled her to the ground. "I already said, you're not taking her. You're rich and she's poor. You should be adopting a rich kid like Lia. She's rich and she has the same status. Just take her and leave this one." The lady said. Seonghwa picked Y/n back up and walked out the door, ignoring the lady's shouts and calls.

Damn, that lady was annoying as hell. Once they got in the car, the buckled Y/n and started driving home. Hongjoong then asked her a question. "How long have you been in the system for?" He asked. Y/n played with her fingers and said a slight "for five years". Seonghwa and Hongjoong both looked shock as to why hasn't Y/n been adopted for such a long time.

They looked at each other then parked the car on the other side of the road. Seonghwa stepped out of the car and picked Y/n up. They walked to the store and evveryone stopped what they were doing to look at them. "Ew! She has a plushie in her hand! And she's being held by the rich couple!" A girl shouted. Everyone started laughing as Y/n hid her face in Seonghwa's neck. She hated being the center of attention.

The girl then walked to them and took her plushie as she tore it up in pieces. "There, now you will never embarrass anyone ever again." The girl said and walked away, high-fiving her friends that were standing there watching everything. Little did she know, the rich couple were actually famous tiktokers MATZ. But she had no idea until they took their masks off.
