Wuxian sat behind his desk, staring blankly at his open laptop, every document, email, and file just a blur. His fingers hovered over the keyboard, eyes darted on the screen, he was so focused with his work that he barely noticed when the door creaked open, and people strode in, all arms crossed and looking determined.

Cheng whispered to Hao Xuan, "Told you, he must be still working and I bet he had forgotten about today too"

"Shut up Cheng, don't be ridiculous.....we all know the opening of his new branch is right at the corner now with just 1 week left. Isn't it obvious for him to be busy but I am sure he remembers his date too. He just can not forget his boyfriend, because of his work. After all he is the most romantic person among you all, No among everyone in the world"............Wen Qing snapped, making Cheng rolled his eyes

Wen Qing gave an evil smirk to Cheng before turning to Wuxian, "Wuxian, aren't you going?"

"Going where?", Wuxian asked, getting back to work, here Wen Qing heard a scoff. She turned and found Cheng smirking back along with Hao Xuan.

"Did you really forget your date............Wuxian? How could you??? It is already so late, he must be waiting for you"............Qing said exaggeratedly

Wuxian blinked, clearly not expecting that. "A date? Now? I thought........nevermind!!" He trailed off, biting back the words............. "You thought what?", Hao Xuan asked now stepping forward, taking seat across Wuxian

"I'm not exactly.......not in the mood.", Wuxian answered, eyes on the screen.

"what the----", Wuxian snapped as Cheng swiveled his chair..... "What do you mean by 'You are not in mood'?"

Wen Qing softened, though her resolve was unshaken, "did you two fight?"

Wuxian seemed unfazed as he kept doing his work.... "No!!! we didn't fight, even I didn't have any talk with him for last two days"

'What????', a screamed echoed inside all his friends mind, this person who just few months ago used to go on dates almost everyday now behaving he was someone who had no emotion for anyone- anything.
