Singapore.
I woke up with my head pounding so painfully and my breath smelled like alcohol that left a bitter taste in my parched mouth. I reflexively coughed out but it sounded more like a croak. I needed to drink water so badly to re-hydrate or else I'm going to be as good as dead the entire day. I couldn't remember the last time I had this kind of skull splitting hangover.
A string of profanities spilled from my lips when I tried to move. Even a tiny movement threatened to split my head. Oh god I swear I will never drink any alcoholic drinks ever again! I swore to myself as I tried to massage my temples.
No use really, my head was still acting like a bitch.
With eyes still half closed, I groped my way out of the bed only to gasp out loud when I felt someone on the other side. To say that I was flummoxed would be an understatement. Did I just sleep with some stranger?
I was wide awake now, as I mentally cursed myself for whatever I was up to last night. The pounding of my head was only making it harder for me to think properly; the fact also that this was not my bed, and definitely not my room was making everything worse. I checked my body first bracing myself for anything. I was relieved to know that my clothes were still intact.
That was surely a good sign right?
Slowly I peeked through the sheets which were draped haphazardly on the person lying beside me. The tiny hope I held crumbled to pieces when I verified that it was indeed a man. Oh God. I pinched the bridge of my nose and snapped my eyes shut some habit I have whenever I feel stressed which happens more often than not. He was lying on his stomach with his head facing the other side. I leaned over to get a good view of his face careful not to wake him up.
Then I saw him and screamed.
It was not a scream of terror or anything on that level. It was a scream of complete and utter shock, astonishment, incredulity and so many other things I don't have words to describe all rolled into one ear splitting scream. I clamped my mouth with my hand to muffle the rest of my insane yelping once I realized I probably just woken the entire city.
I can't really blame myself. How can I when Louis freaking Tomlinson is sleeping mere inches away from me?
Okay.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Right, I'm really having trouble processing it all in my completely messed up brain. The pounding in my head was replaced now by the thunderous beating of my heart.
What the actual frick?
Everything that happened the night before came flooding back in, it was like there's a light bulb inside my head lifting the fog off and I can see clearly. I met Louis and Niall in a club when I was out with couple of friends last night. I happen to know the owner of the club who introduced me to them and the rest was history.
