This is not TSAMS Sun and Moon, more closely related to the game versions. There is a multitude of references to TSAMS, EAPS, Help Wanted 2, and ofc Security Breach
Along with some headcanonsThis is my first completed fanfic so I hope it’s decent
Enjoy! :]
Sun hummed himself a lil tune he heard from a security guard’s phone. A merry little jingle that was just enough to block out the ceaseless theme song of the daycare. Oh how he wished he could cut his audio processors off and live in peace. It was insistent and insatiable, demanding every ounce of his code not to break the speakers. He wiped the rag over the stain again, his eyebrows knitting in increasing annoyance. It clung to the floor like the Karens that occasionally showed, unmoving and infuriating. He mumbled, fed up with the stubborn stain and with the stubborn, useless cleaner bots. Evelyn had first come to him complaining of an upset stomach, as protocol called he fetched the sick-up bucket. He tried giving it to her but as kids do, she refused, choosing the absolutely better option of using the floor. That wasn’t the problem; while filing a report, a few cleaner bots appeared. Usually, their gray shells were a welcoming sight, virtually identical to the security bots as Fazbear’s frugality never ceased. Lately, however, they've been acting up. They made quick work of worsening the mess, brooms instead of mops rubbed the liquid and other bits further into the plush floor. Sun in disbelief pushed them out of the way, his code panicking. Now, kneeling he refused to move until it was spotless.
Further away another animatronic snickered to himself. His starry pants dangled from atop the play structure. A passive grin spread across his faceplate. The bells adorning his pointy slippers jingled quietly as his feet swayed absentmindedly to the music. Moon watched it all happen. To say he enjoyed the fiasco was an understatement. He thought of intervening, but before he could approach hell had already broken loose. After, however, he knew better than to stand in the way of Sun and his exasperated cleaning methods. So, he opted to observe, keep watch while Sun was distracted.
Sun huffed, scrubbing harder. If the stain didn’t come out they’d have to replace the floors. Thinking about it infuriated him even further. Humans would have to come in after hours! Interrupt his cleaning time and cause more unnecessary ruckus. Even the staff know to avoid Sun during cleaning time. Last guy who repeatedly didn’t, quit after his water had hand sanitizer “mysteriously” poured into it. They never found the culprit- the camera footage during that time erased. Moon, despite being hooked up to them, had no recollection of why.
Moon checked his internal clock. A whole hour had passed since Sun started, perhaps a break wouldn’t hurt. A small whirr approached Moon. A thin, titanium (and heavily reinforced) wire drifted down and clipped onto the hoop behind him. It lifted him from his seated position, pulling him to a bird's eye view of the daycare. His eyes drifted over the large play structures, various neat stacks of barrels, and the chairs and tables reminiscent of the day they opened. Moon landed effortlessly, not even a thud as his multi-ton body hit the ground. He crept over to Sun, hands in front, fingers curled in a ready-to-tickle position. Sun, none the wiser, continued his work. Even as a shadow casted over him, he was only pulled from his trance when Moon spoke. “Stilllll at it?” followed by a small chuckle. His raspy voice sliced through the vacant air. Sun jumped about a mile high, scrambling to get up but failed as he stumbled sideways. He turned himself over, sitting on the ground in defeat. The rag still tightly clutched in his hand with his glare boring holes into Moon. They stared at each other for a second. Almost studying each other as if they weren’t the same model with different colors, different clothes. Sun leaped up, his demeanor flipping like a coin. “Moon! Where have you been?! God it was awFUL! Just awful!! Evelyn threw up! And and and then-...” Sun rambled on, mouth moving a mile a minute. Moon stood silently, arms crossed in comfort as he listened. He already knew everything- he was watching after all. But he couldn’t bring himself to interrupt Sun’s enthusiasm, it was something he adored. “I’ll file a report…don’t know how you can stand them” Moon said through his teeth, a disdain filling him. He gestured to the piece of cloth forgotten on the floor, proving his point.
