The next day, Sweetie was done with helping a family of deer get off of a boat they stowed away on. She may be the second spy dog, but she's eager to try everything. Patchy still holds a grudge on her while at the Lookout.
Patchy: I'm telling you! She's trying to learn everything we do just so that she knows our every move!!!
Dolly: Would you calm down, Patch?
Tundra: Yeah! Ever since Evil Sweetie took your powers– ONE TIME!!!! –you have been suspicious about her turning good!
Patchy: Please!!! You got to believe me!!
Then Sweetie came back to the Lookout with a welcoming smile on her face as she went towards her new team. Chase could not be happier to not be enemies with her. Sweetie was glad, too. She and Chase went from being-sworn-enemies-from-day-one, to almost being like family.
Sweetie: Hey, guys!
Chase: Hi! We heard about that thing with the deer. (grins) I thought you were the new spy pup.
Sweetie: (chuckles) I know. But I wanted to do more than what I'm said I could be. Besides, I think deer are cute.
Chase: Hmm. Makes sense. (Tristan approaches) Oh. Hi, Dad!
Tristan: Hey, Chase. Welcome back, Sweetie.
Sweetie: (smiles) Thanks, Tristan.
Chase: So, Sweetie. How do you like Adventure Bay so far?
Sweetie: A lot more beautiful than it is.
Chase smiled, for he knows Sweetie has finally switched sides, and that she's a completely different pup. She was changed, just like Clayton is. Suddenly, while Sweetie and Chase were talking, a flash of memories went through Tristan's mind. Once he got a good look at Sweetie, he thought Ewan was there in front of him. The look on his face made Chase and Sweetie worry. Tristan whimpered in grief and trembled. Worried about him, Chase and Sweetie caught Tristan.
Chase: Dad! What's wrong with him?!
Sweetie: I don't know! I–I–I– Tristan! Are you okay?!
Tristan: (breathing heavily) I . . . I thought . . . I saw . . . Ewan . . .
The name somehow made Sweetie show a shocked look. She has been working so hard on being good she forgot memories about her old life. Then, she finally had the courage to tell them.
Sweetie: Chase. Tristan.
Chase: Yeah?
Sweetie: There's . . . something I need to tell you.
Before Chase and Tristan could ask what, Ryder calls Chase's PupTag.
Ryder (via PupTag): Chase! Harris and Rodriguez are calling from Adventure City Prison. They need Tristan!
Tristan: I'm coming right over, Ryder!
Chase: We're coming with you! (Tristan nods and starts running. Chase turns to Sweetie) We can talk later, okay? (smiles)
Sweetie smiled and nodded, trying to hide the pain of her past. Then they went after Tristan. Later, Tristan is on the phone with Harris and Rodriguez. Adrianna is unusually terrified by what happened. And Daniel was freaking out.
Tristan: Okay, okay. Calm down, guys. Calm down. What is it?
Daniel (on phone): It's Slate, Vortex, and Swift! They broke out of prison! (Tristan's eyes widen)
