Seriously, it didn't even take an hour for me to fight my way out of danger just from going out to a party with my dormmates. Life is shit, and yes, I won't even deny that it is indeed shit.

I just wanted to have some fun for a change and yet, here I am. Being chased with some weird-ass creature. It's huge, covered with some dark fur similar to that of the... black hole?

Anyway, it bared it's huge, sharp teeth at me the moment my dumb ass decided to enter an empty alleyway. Way to welcome death, bum-bum.

I'd be lucky enough to actually find my way out of this poisonous street of the city. If that creature won't kill me, it's the smell. Every way I turn I see dead rats, trash and some stuff I don't even know whatever it was. Probably a dead body, who knows?

The creature that was just right behind my tail howled and barked loudly that I'm surprised none of the people in this neighborhood even woke up to shut the creature's mouth. I'd also be lucky if they just shoot it dead. That will keep it silent forever.

Like I said, lucky.

Who am I kidding? Luck? Bullshit, only delusional buffoons believe that luck would even side with them. Those selfish creatures.

"Fuck!" I hissed as I felt a gushing pain pentrated my foot. When I was just about to take a turn, somebody's huge as mirror grazed my foot. Now I am in pain.

I am barely running anymore and any moment now, that creature will reach me and gobble me up before I can even get out of this accursed alley.

The pain was beginning to be unbearable, so I decided to rest my hand on the wall and helplessly hopping my way to- well- escape. Again, such an absurd thought...

Who am I kidding? Again.

I knew the dangers that was inside this alleyway, I already sensed that fucking dog's or whatever's presence before I even step in here. I just, couldn't imagine that I'd actually end up running away from death... yet again.

A coward... that's what I am.

"I'm sorry..." I sobbed not only from the pain but also because of the memories of the past coming back to me. I didn't know what I was trying to prove to myself.

Was I already alright to do something?

Or am I just an empty shell of who I was?

The pain was already so unbearable that I couldn't even step any further. I just felt my body collapse to the ground as my vision started to turn hazy.

Not long after, the sound of the creature's footsteps and it's hungry growl found its way to my ears. I flinched at the simple touch of its snout as it followed the trail of my blood. I watched as its dark ears flickered as it noticed me watching its every move.

The ugly creature was hungry, and I wasn't joking. Its saliva was foaming as its teeth remained bared the way it did earlier. No joke. It was drawling so much it can actually replace the Pacific Ocean.

The creature sniffed my blood that was already trickling down the pavement, and made its way to my face. Jeez, didn't know I could bleed so much just from a simple cut, from a glass. It probably hit a vein or somethin'.

If the creature won't kill me, it's the fucking blood loss. I wonder how much I have lost already? I probably look so fucking drained the creature won't even take a bite out of me anymore, HAHA!

Like I get you, bud. What's the use of eating me when I already spilled alot of the juice, yeah?

Welp, atleast I won't die from a gruesome death. It's probably much better to die due to blood loss than being eatin alive.

The creature howled once again for, I don't know. This guy's been howling a lot since earlier and nothing showed up. Whatever or whoever it is calling, is probably deaf, because jeez. I am about to turn into one of how loud this animal is.

Should I make a list of my possible death from this fucking situation? Because I have a lot of it in mind.

Meh, I'll be dead anyway, so why bother?

The creature sniffed me one more time then its scarlet eyes flickered.

"Are you gonna eat me or not?" I said out of impatience. Like seriously?!

I have been anticipating for this creature to eat me up and yet it is just watching me in agony.

I am really regretting even bothering to walk in this alley, I am dying to die.

"Are you kidding me?!" I huffed as the creature decided to just take a sit like fucking dog as its tail wiggled about. Its teeth no longer, and now it looked like an obedient pup. It even showed its tongue now looking like huge ass dog!

I am in disbelief.

"Are you seriously- what the fuck?" I was astounded at the way it just stared at me with its cute eyes.

"I didn't take you to be such a drama queen."

I turned my face over to the source of the voice. I sat up from where I was laying at and faced the man who stood proudly between me and the creature.

The person covered himself with a white cloak which made him stand out from the dark, though he covered his face, his golden eyes didn't escape from my vision. A strand of silver hair escaped from its covers taking away the purpose of the hood.

I couldn't even say a word due to shock with how tall the person is.

I'm not kidding, he could even replace the nba's tallest basketball player.

"Who are you?" I finally asked after staring at the man. "What do you want from me?" I further questioned.

The man's attention went from the huge creature to me. He didn't look so impress seeing me and neither was I. As much as I wanted to run away, my foot is still killing me.

"Clytie Browning, daughter of Jacques Duke of the house Orion." I felt a surge of panick when the man mentioned my father's name. What's even weirder is he knew the other identity my father hid away from this human civilization.

"Who are you?" I shouted. "How do you know my father's real name?" I picked up the nearest possible object and pointed it at the man. "For all I know, only creatures from that gods forsaken place, knew who he was." J glared at him. The fear I felt earlier vanished and was replaced with anger.

He made a sound as if he just let a tired sigh as he rests one of his hand on his waist. I frowned.

"This is what I hate the most." He grunt and he decided to plop himself on the pavement. That action shocked the ground that i just felt myself float few inches from the ground.

"That isn't exactly the answer tk my questions." I sort of demanded.

"Look, kid." He started.

Kid?

"I don't exactly have that much time." He started. "So, I'd really appreciate it when you just take a short nap."

"Wait what do you me-"

I don't know what just happened because everything was just too fast that my reaction couldn't keep up.

Then I just blacked out.
