Taylor and Travis stood on opposite sides of the room. Travis glared at her while she cried. She never wanted it to come to this; she just wanted him to know what she heard. "Taylor, you can't honestly think I would believe you about this," Travis yelled at his best friend.

"Travis, you must believe me. I am telling you the truth. I heard her say it herself," Taylor said back. She didn't want to scream at him, even though he was doing that. The argument started because she overheard his new girlfriend Kayla say she was using him because he was being drafted to the Kansas City Chiefs after college.

"No, you are just jealous because my attention isn't on you anymore. You are so used to me always being on your side, and now I am picking her side. Get the hell out of my house," Travis yelled, pointing to the door behind her.

Taylor shook her head. "Travis, I am telling you the truth," she cried, trying to convince him, but he wasn't listening. Get the hell out of my house. I am not asking again; I don't want to see you again until this petty jealousy ends and you can accept my relationship with Kayla," Travis yelled again.

Before Taylor could respond, Travis' brother Jason walked into the living room, "Hey, what is going on here?" Jason yelled, trying to calm them down. "Nothing, I was just leaving," Taylor whispered, staring at the ground and running out of the Kelce Household.

----

Taylor ran into her room and went straight to her bed. She just wanted to disappear. After high school, she was supposed to go to the same college as Travis, but now she wanted nothing to do with him anymore. She grabbed her phone and unenrolled from the University of Cincinnati. Austin and Jason also went there; they had come home for the younger siblings' graduation and were to take Taylor and Travis to the university.

She then called her best friend, Abigail, who moved to Seattle after graduating last year. Abigail had suggested that Taylor move there so she could start her career, but Taylor wanted to go to college with her best friend and brothers. That all ended now. Abigail agreed to move in with Taylor until she found a place to stay. She managed to enroll in the same medical school as Abigail.

She just had to tell her parents. Although she knew it was wrong to make all these changes without first talking to them, she didn't care; she just wanted to be away from Travis. "Hey, baby," Andrea said with a smile. "Hey, Mom, can we talk?" Taylor asked, and she nodded.

At that moment, her dad, Scott, walked into the living room. "What's going on?" Scott asked, seeing his daughter's face. "I am not going to Cincinnati anymore. I am moving to Seattle with Abigail," Taylor said, watching how her parents' faces turned into confusion.

"What?" Andrea asked, confused. Taylor sighed, "I don't want to go to college with the boys anymore; I want to go to med school with Abigail; I wanna do something I want to do," Taylor said, trying to clear up everything so they wouldn't ask any as much up, as more questions.

"Oh, okay, that is alright, but maybe we can talk about this stuff beforehand so we aren't left confused," Scott said with a small smile, which she nodded, knowing he was right. "Sorry, I just decided it tonight. I am surprised I got accepted so fast and on such short notice," Taylor said; she didn't know how, but she was grateful for it.

----

"Are you going to explain what that was?" Jason asked his brother. He didn't understand why he walked into him screaming at Taylor; they had never fought. Travis shook his head. "It was nothing, Jason; just drop it," Travis said, walking away from him and heading toward his room.

"No, what the hell was that? Why were you yelling at her?" Jason asked, starting to get pissed off with his little brother. Travis looked at his brother, knowing he wouldn't let it go, and explained everything, expecting him to be on his side; oh, was he wrong. "What the hell is wrong with you? She is your best friend and has been for years, and you are choosing the side of some girl you just started dating," Jason yelled.

"Taylor is just jealous that my attention isn't on her anymore," Travis tried to argue his point, which he was doing terribly. Jason continued to glare at him. "When has Taylor ever cared about attention? Do you realize how stupid you are? Taylor has always just wanted you happy, whether it was with her or not, and you want to believe she is lying simply because she is jealous of your girlfriend, who, by the way, is just using you," Jason said; that's when Travis froze.

He thought back to when he asked Kayla to be his girlfriend and finally realized the smirk on her face when she said yes. That's when everything hit Travis; he just lost his best friend because he was an idiot, and he had no idea how to fix any of it. He didn't say anything to Jason as he ran out of the house, going straight to the Swifts, who lived across the street. He could fix this; Taylor never stayed mad at him for long; this couldn't be any different, right?

He walked into the house; it had been established years ago that neither family had to knock before coming in. As he made his way to the stairs, Scott Swift stopped him. "She isn't here, Travis," Scott said, knowing why he was there. "When will she be back? I need to talk to her," Travis said, disappointed he couldn't fix things immediately.

Scott sighed. "Not for a while, at least; what she told you she left a few minutes ago heading to Seattle," he said. He almost felt bad seeing the look on the boy's face, but he remembered why she wanted to move farther away. "Seattle? We are going to Cincinnati," Travis said, getting confused.

Scott tried to explain, "She didn't want to go to Cincinnati anymore; she got accepted at another school in Seattle." Travis stared at the older man, tears forming in his eyes. "Is it because of me?" Travis asked, and Scott nodded; he wouldn't try to make the boy feel better after driving his daughter away.
