Y/n:
I'm available!
[ 5:10 p.m. ]

"Where are you going?" Jackson asked from the living room, the television blasting loudly as he watched Y/n put shoes onto her feet near the doorway. "Out," she simply replied, earning a hum as a response from Jackson. Ash came into the room and saw Y/n, "Where are you headed? Who are you going with?" He asked, crossing his arms.

Y/n lets a soft chuckle fall from her lips, Ash was always such a caring person—she was always amused by his fatherly attitude, always asking the members where'd they've been or where they're going. "I'm just going to hang out with Sana." Y/n replied, "Alright, don't stay out to late." Y/n nodded, opening the door and making her way to meet up with Sana.

"Hey Sana!" Y/n yelled at the figure far from her, waving with a small smile, the figure waved back, "Hey Y/n!" Sana spoke, her tone filled with excitement.

"Are you ready to have some killer fun?" Sana asked with an enthusiastic tone, "Of course!"

The air crackled with the electric hum of anticipation as Sana and Y/n stepped through the carnival gates. The scent of popcorn, cotton candy, and the faint tang of chlorine from the nearby water park filled their nostrils, a symphony of summer fun.

The kaleidoscope of lights, vibrant and chaotic, painted the night sky in a mesmerizing dance, reflecting off the excited faces of the crowd. Sana, ever the adventurous one, tugged Y/n's arm, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Come on, let's ride the Ferris wheel first!" she declared, her voice brimming with enthusiasm.

Y/n, usually more reserved, couldn't help but be swept away by Sana's infectious energy. She allowed herself to be pulled towards the towering wheel, its metal frame reaching for the stars. As they ascended, the carnival lights twinkled below, transforming the bustling crowd into a glittering sea of tiny dots.

The wind whipped through their hair, carrying with it the sound of laughter and the distant strains of a carnival tune.

"This is amazing," Y/n breathed, her gaze fixed on the sprawling cityscape that stretched out before them. The city lights, a million tiny stars, shimmered in the distance, a breathtaking contrast to the carnival's vibrant glow.

Sana, her head tilted back, watched the stars emerge in the darkening sky, their soft light a counterpoint to the carnival's artificial brilliance. "It's like we're on top of the world," she whispered, her voice barely audible above the wind.

A comfortable silence settled between them, punctuated only by the rhythmic creaking of the Ferris wheel. In that moment, suspended high above the ground, Y/n felt a strange sense of connection with Sana.
